2002 headlight conversion

I reused mine but on some non OEM bumpers there is hardly any room.

Just wondering do you reuse the rubber seal type thing inbetween the bumper & front fenders or leave it out?

Yes you can reuse the bumper/fender gasket didn't have a problem fits perfect on the OEM '02 no way you can tell its not '02+ gasket, not sure about the aftermarket bumpers but I would imagine it should be fine.

I reused the gasket on my 02+ conversion. I'm using the GT-One 02 style bumper.

Yes, I've got the GT-One 2002 bumper as well, but It doesn't seem right with or without it.

with it, the bumper is maybe 3mm short with the line of the fender but without it, it doesn't line up ontop of the fender near the headlight.

I guess it's a compromise with these aftermarket parts. should have paid the extra for downforce maybe?

Me too. I'm currently using the rubber gaskets between the front fenders and my GT-ONE 02+ front bumper and it causes the fender wheel well lip to not line up with the back edge of the bumper. Next time I take off the bumper I might leave out those gaskets.

I too would have gone with the Downforce but I don't like how they smoothed out the horizontal creases above the A/C condensor intakes. Maybe I should have spent WAY more and gone OEM.

Yeah i know what you mean, but with the extra fees we incur with customs & other taxes it's just too expensive, as well as the expensive shipping cost to get it to Australia. you can pretty much double the cost of the part I buy!!
