2002 Conversion

hey everybody,

just wondering if anybody here has done the headlight conversion for earlier model nsxs.
i just got word from SoS that the only part that is fabricated by them in their kit is the headlight bracket, so i just wanted to check to see if i could get the remaining OEM parts for any cheaper....
buuut i need some numbers to look up.... i have access to the parts catalog, i just need to know all the parts that i need..... can anybody help me out? SoS said that they didnt' have the part numbers right in hand, and to just order most of the parts on the front end.

you need complete 02 headlights and brackets, D2S or D2C HID
front complete bumper, foam insert is optional and a 02 hood.

i reused the old bumper bracket

its going to cost right under $7000 for parts alone.
anyway you slice it, its going to cost you some money.
theres no cheap way to do it really.
i know some people tried to cut corners and go cheap, but ended up costing them more because they refused to spend the extra money to do it right the first time.

i did 2 complete conversions myself. helped out with jason's white 02R
I used OEM bumpers and headlights because this was the only option at the time. i used Xetronics HIDs and DOWNFORCE's NSX-R hood.
