Probably time to let someone else play with Christie Brinkley.
After driving with SCCA for 20 years (the last 5 in Sports 2000 <see the avatar>), I bought this car after looking for one for 7 years (the PERFECT one for me). But as time has gone by (bye), I don’t drive it as much as I should – so, perhaps, it’s your turn.
Runs and Maintained flawlessly. I bought it from Fox Valley Motor Cars after a pre-purchase inspection from Euroguipe in Chicago. Knowing that it needed all 30,000 mile work (which was part of the deal with FVMC), I bought and Euroquipe did all the work. Going 140mph down I-65 from Chicago to Indy was a BAD idea.
Because I had some help with OZ when I was racing, the girl has UltraAleggera wheels with Yoko 215/40ZR17’s. (and the original wheels/tire go with her) I also put in a McCollough HID headlights system in (that I bought from someone here) (and have hardly ever used – since I don’t drive it at night). I’ve done a couple of Glass and Trunk Struts – and that’s about it.
The car speaks for itself. I have all the records – including the pre-buy from Euroquipe. Is it a show-car? – not quite (because the previous owner probably used it as a daily driver)…. But if you want a nice one (never tracked or abused), look this over.
