My mistake on the first listing, well, actually, its his mistake, but I read the rest of the description, its a 1991. His title shows 2001.

First one is a 1991 not 2001. Either typo or deceiving seller.

Second one is mostlikely a scam. Same car is for sale here http://www.foreigncarsitalia.com/details.asp?ID=354 for $72900

The board pretty much universally trashes Ebay cars, with good reason, however I have purchased several on Ebay with great results. You just have to follow some simple rules:

1) Pre inspect by third party BEFORE bidding- (if you cant afford this you cant afford the car)
2) Get copy of title and carfax
3) Validate the seller

I purchased an M3 and and a Escalade via ebay, got a great deal with no problems, but had to avoid alot of junk to get there.
