Well, it happened. My 2000 silver NSX clipped the tire of an SUV just enough to damage the right front fender. The door, hood, front, etc were all spared any damage, which is good. The right front fender will likely need replacement, but I am not a body guy. It looks like the tire of the SUV impacted and then rubbed against it pretty good. Don't ask how it happened..

Can someone recommend a shop in Northern California that is GREAT at doing NSX body repair? I am in Roseville, but I will go anywhere for the right shop.

Thanks,

Wayne

TNT Autobody
SACRAMENTO, CA

Im Sure lots of local guys can Vouch for him.

i've done my e92 335i with him and a couple other cars.

DAN here on prime with Brookland Green NA1 that was at the fountains that day just got his ride done at TNT Also. very good work!

Sorry to hear about the accident. I'm glad to hear that you guys are ok and that the damage wasn't too bad.

I would recommend TNT auto body as well as I just had my front end repainted.

I had my fenders replaced due to an accident on my Driver side fender, I have an extra Passenger side fender for sale if you need it.

Let me know.

Thanks,
Dan

Many of the locals may not know that Jake Tomlinson has been a strong supporter of the local chapter, offering his shop for many detail days as well as sponsoring NSXPO 2003.

I am not familiar with TNT, but would appreciate steering people who have supported the local chapter and do really top quality work. Tomlinson is certified to work on aluminum, and does many of the repairs for the Niello group. He is located in Auburn (530) 885-0183. Ask for Jake and you can tell him I referred you.

^^^ Plus one for Brooks Motor Cars. If you are willing to bring your NSX to the Bay Area to have your NSX repaired, I highly recommend Brooks. They have repaired and painted a number of NSX's including my NSX. You can talk to Dan (the owner) or Tony.

Good Luck

If you are willing to take it to Oakland, then I would recommend Brooks Motor Cars.

If you want to keep it local, then I recommend Tomlinson's in Auburn, CA. Jake Tomlinson is a true car guy and he is stickler for detail. His shop manager, Dave is great to work with. They are all about quality and customer service. I recently had one of my e39's there for work, and although we ended up totalling the car, working with them was a pleasure.
