Your ticket gets you event entry but doesn't gaurantee parade lap entry.
The parade lap is limited to 50 cars. According to the confirmation email, the parade lap will be handled as follows:
Saturday 10:00 am: Sign-up for IMSA-facilitated Acura NSX parade lap (first-come-first-serve)
Yolanda, are these tickets for all (3) days of this event? These are "Acura Hospitality tickets" and not just the general admissions ticket, right?I have two extra tickets for the ALMS event this Friday,Saturday and Sunday. Anyone interested please email or call 650-589-9724. Cost is $70 each.

Hrant, just to get some clarification......so as long as I get to the registation desk early enough on Saturday, I could potentially be included in the parade lap?It is actually Saturday 9:00 am at the NSXCA registration desk. From the previous e-mail:
Saturday, October 18, 2008
9:00 am Hospitality chalet and car corral parking open
9:00 am Sign-up for IMSA-facilitated Acura NSX parade lap (first-come-first-serve)
And per Tom's e-mail to all attendees: "We will be granting parade lap privileges based on a first come-first served basis at registration opening Saturday morning."
Jack/Yolanda, would this ticket include the parade lap?
Parade Lap is limited to first come, first serve. I believe you need to be a member of NSXCA to receive this. They include the lunch and access to the Acura event area plus any free goodies. I only have one ticket left so let me know ASAP if you are intersted. I will down in Monterey on Friday AM.
Yolanda
This is correct. If you purchased tickets from someone else, we do not have you in the regisrtry log - which determines who paid during the open registration period. Tom made it clear that there was a cutoff date for all this and after that he was not going to jokey swaps or musical chairs .........
The tickest will give you access to the tent/hospitality, but unless you can prove to us that you are an NSXCA in good standing (the burden is on you not us, and an NSXCA membership card is not sufficient), the limited 50 slots are limited to NSXCA members. Having said this, I know NMYMIR is a member in good standing.
would it be to late to sign up to be an NSXCA member and than purchase the last ticket from Yolanda? Would that put me in good standing? Also this ticket will it allow me to park in the NSX Coral with everyone else?
This is when I resort to politics
James is the new NW Rep for NSXCA. It is his call whether this can be accommodated given the logistics. We support his decision.
understandable, i figured it was worth a try at the least. Given his answer i'll still be interested in attending. So who's james? Can you give me his username so that i may pm him?

So does one ticket cover the driver and passenger or do you have to buy 2 tickets?
I have two 3 day general admission and paddock tickets for Friday through Sunday that I can't use so if someone wants to buy both, I will sell them for $60 for the pair. This does not guarantee you a spot in the NSX parade but if someone from Prime wants them, you can reach me at (510)303-8468.
Sidney
Sid, if Jimbo is interested and can pick up the tickets from you, I definitely would be interested. Jimbo, want to split the pair?
I think I have the pair sold anyways. Will post back if they are still available.
