ok, well it may not be detrimental. but anyways, got to my car last night after cruising sunset strip in LA/Hollywood. Parked my car in the parking structure at the Virgin Records complex. Hung out at Myagi's for a couple of hours.

Got back to my car and there was gum next to the door on the side of my car next to the gas tank cover. Check all around my car for anything else and Matilda made it through without a scratch. Damn haters!!!

I have read about worse instances to owners, anyone have any recent crap done to their cars????

I have had mine spit on a couple of times, again no serious damage, but I wasn't thrilled. Right on the drivers side window and in my line of sight on the windshield so I had to look at it until I got home and could clean it off

I had mine egged in a apartment complex parking lot. No damage done except to my heart. They are lucky I never caught them though.

sorry to hear, and pretty gutsy of you to park it out in LA area in a public parking garage,

david,

tell me about it. its just that all the valets lots were full, and other parking was like $20. no way am i gonna pay $20 to park my car, when i can get away with it for free simply by getting my ticket validated. i guess im cheap or stupid. one or the other...haha.

oh yeah, btw, i called that tint shop to check out the girl's voice. i think she sounds damn cute, maybe ill rolled up for an estimate once i get the chance.

btw, her name is rachel, if i can recall.

You're lucky. An egg can cause serious paint damage - a line of tiny chips in the curved shape of the egg.

just to hear the voice... ?? lol

well, i am debating whether to tint or not. 1, i get sunburn easily
2, trying to keep the car stock
3, visibility at night,
4, what if people can't see through the window anymore and see who the big baller is

j/k on the last one,

Khue-you are pretty lucky that was it...and you have some GUTS to park your car in that area especially at night...I know you have another car, where was that??

People are soooo stupid these days, I bring my beater everywhere, the NSX is rarely parked and when it is, its always covered..being black it needs too...

I keep glass cleaner, quick detailer, and some 100% cotton cloths in a briefcase in my trunk just in case anything like this happens to me (so far it just been birds).

That is just wrong!!!

Even back in the days when I had my old accord, whenever I see nice cars, I am afraid of even putting finger prints or breath too close to the car, cause I know how I took care of my accord, and I am sure these other car owners spend more time/effort to maintain that nice car appearance.

To spit on someone else's car is just plain rude, and not to be on the extreme side, but I think they deserve to be shot! hehe

A while back, a friend of mine had these cards made up when someone parked to close, you could place them under the wiper blade or rubber window trim of a door when you left your parking spot w/o doing any harm. If I remember they said " I just left the spot next to your car and I just wanted to say Thanks for parking so close to my car A$$ hole. Another said, "next time you want to park too close to another car, do them a favor and leave a can opener. I needed one so I could get in through my roof you idiot".

Cute. However, such cards could come stick in the craw of the recipient, and come back to haunt you. That might not be such a big deal for, say, an Accord with generic license plates. However, if you have an NSX with memorable vanity plates or in an unusual color, there is always the off chance that he might see your car again (perhaps in the same area if you frequent it often) and recognize it, and decide to act on his anger.

Just a thought.
