Looking back on the early spyshots of the 2002 model:
http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/Media/rumors.htm

It seems that both Autoweek and Popular Mechanics got it the closest. PM had a very accurate rendering of the rear especially, which included the new oval turn signals. This was back in Aug/ Sept of last year.

I would have thought that "best car" or one of the other Japanese magazines would have had the inside scoop on the new design, but somehow it seems there is an American mole in Tochigi! Hats off to Autoweek and Popular Mechanics! I will have to start a subscription next year to look for 2004 spyshots!

I agree, they seem to have got the design the most accurate. It's interesting to see that they seem to have thought it was going to be an 8 cyl with the license plate 32VNSX, hehe...

I searched facts, Does anyone have any early spy shots of the NSX before it was ever released? High quality shots would be much appreciated.
Thanks

There are no spy shots (remember, Honda is great at keeping its secrets) but there are some photos of the prototype and the development drawings and such in the Technical Information and Development History book that's in the FAQ.
