I have the chance to purchase a 1998 red/blk 6spd with 39k miles and one owner for $43k. Is this a good deal , what do you think? I sold my 1991 last summer. So I havn't followed the market that much lately. Thanks for any help...

Did you run a carfax? Have an Acura pre-purchase inspection?
The price sounds good. I would just want to make sure that no surprises are coming. Damage, repairs, paint work, etc.

Over 90 percent of the time someone asks "Is this a good deal", the two-part answer is:
a) yes, it's a good deal, IF the car is as described, is in excellent condition and there are no serious issues (lack of maintenance, accident history, salvage title, etc); and
b) it almost always turns out that the car is NOT as described, is NOT in excellent condition, and/or there are significant issues.
So far the answer is (a). I would bet that (b) is true as well, just based on experience. Let us know how it turns out.
