CURRENT CONDITION OF WEARABLES INCL. TIRES, BRAKES, BELTS, HOSES, SUSPENSION COMPONENTS AND FLUIDS: tires have approximately 3500 miles on them; front brakes done 8/2011 as well as R inner CV boot (rest are fine), struts are from 2004 NSX (placed 10/10) w/stock 1997 springs

NOTES
Car is in great shape. Not a garage queen : I try to drive at least 1x weekly (partly why I am selling as I have too many toys). There are few tiny rock chips on front bumper from driving but no major scratches. NO dings at all.

I am the 4th owner. The original owner was from Seattle area : he owned for 2yrs & sold with about 2100mi on it to another Seattle area owner. It was owned by an Arizona physician since 2001 who had the CT supercharger installed. There are alot of SOS parts on the car : too many for me to have found them all (I did NOT receive documentation from his work when I bought the car). When he elected to sell the car it was transferred to his brother who owns a car dealership in MI. I subsequently purchased it from that dealership in July 2010. I had it shipped via enclosed trailer to Spokane at that time. I am not aware of who was the original owner. It has clean Carfax when I purchased

After arrival I noted that the idle was running very high so I drove it over to Acura of Lynnwood & left it in the capable hands of Charles Hart. They did a major service & sorted out all of the minor issues on the car (I have receipts). The high idle was a worn supercharger bypass hose that was custom rebuilt with a hose that is reinforced & the car runs fine. I passed WA state's rigorous emissions test w/o any problems soon after purchase.

I just recently took the car back to Lynnwood to sort out a short that was draining the battery. This turns out to have been the Homelink mirror that I installed. This was corrected & at the same time I had the front brakes & a dried CV boot replaced. My stereo was not working at the time & this turned out to be poor wiring job by whomever had installed the aftermarket speakers in the past. The wiring was replaced with heavier duty gauge & the stereo works perfectly now.

So with all of that said, here is the mod list:

MODS if any (Are stock parts included in the sale?): mucho mods, no stock parts except engine cover:

ENGINE/POWERTRAIN
COMPTECH SUPERCHARGER 6PSI – COMPTECH INSTALLED
CF CAI
Aftermarket 4tip dual exhaust (I think it is ARC)

SUSPENSION/WHEELS/BRAKES
2004 struts w/stock springs
18/19 Avus 3pc wheels painted body color
Front brakes replaced 8/2011

APPEARANCE
Science of Speed red anodized aluminum coolant tank
2001 stock shift knob
Carbon fiber spark plug covers
Anodized aluminum - Comptech engine strut bar

MISC
Shark antenna
WINDOW TINT
6k HIDs (hi/low beams)
JDM Fog lights
Integrated Escort radar detector w/remote screen in coin tray
Subwoofer upgrade in passenger footwell driven by compact Sony amplifier in trunk (sounds VERY nice)
Aftermarket speakers in doors w/tweets in doors
Homelink mirror w/integrated garage door openers & auto-dimming
Hugabuga window regulator upgrades
SOS aluminum interior door handles
SOS window retainer upgrades
SOS steering rack bushing upgrades
SOS blue silicone hose kit
SOS Downforce HEPA air filter system (filters outside air coming in)
Boost gauge/Fuel pressure gauge in console

As you can see by the pix, there is minimal wear on either seat. There is no seam separation on the driver's seat & the seats are not dried out. I have a carpet cover over the dash to protect the dash from sun (on the rare occasion that it is parked outside) but mostly because I don't like the glare off of the shiny vinyl dash blasting me in my eyes (the dash underneath is not cracked at all). Has original floor mats with appropriate wear, no wear nor tears to carpeting.

Stock climate control works fine. Air conditioning is fully charged & blows very cold (it'll freeze you out). With the dark tint on the windows & excellent A/C this car is great for the heat of summer...

Stock stereo headunit works fine. Amplified shark antenna helps pull in distant stations. Tape player works fine : I used cassette-adapter to plug in my iPod. I had the USA-spec iPod adapter & it never worked right so I pulled it. The wiring for CD changer is present in trunk but I cannot find the changer itself so I will assume the changer is NOT included in sale

I DO have the spare tire & will include it with sale. I removed before taking in for service last month & haven't gotten around to putting back in yet. Spare has never been on the ground nor inflated. The tool kit is present in the trunk.

The only negative:
Both of the rears are massive wheels: 19x10. Unfortunately this means they are more susceptible to curb damage & I did bonk a carb with one wheel & the other got scraped on a pothole. They are true 3pc wheels so they can be disassembled so the scrapes can be polished/sanded off. There is a wheel restoration place in Seattle (Edmonds) that I spoke to regarding the repairs : they figured worst case scenario was $500 to do both. I just haven't had time to proceed so am letting prospective buyers know about this. They are still balanced & track true even at high speeds.

I own this car free & clear & have WA state title in hand.

I have done my final price modification : I'll leave it on the market for next few weeks & then will be placing into storage for winter. The current price of $43500.00 is firm.

Moderator, please remove or lock this posting. Have placed car into winter storage so no longer for sale. Thanks

I've had several emails regarding my car so thought I'd reply.

Am again considering selling: I rarely drive the car anymore - have put 1200mi on it since last posted. Summer is winding down & I'm already preparing to put it into storage, which really is not how this beautiful car is meant to be.

Only difference from original post: mileage is now 59110, engine cover is not included in sale (don't know why I put that, I haven't found it in years). Big change is that I've pulled the Avus wheels & it is riding on 17/18 OZ Ultraleggerra rims with BF Goodrich radials. Total mileage on tires is 3500 so ample tread left (had these on my 2001 Silverstone before)

If interested, still asking $43,500.00 firm. Same price as before which is a deal since you are getting the lightweight OZ wheels/tires now that are not curbed. Not interested in low-ballers so save yourself & my time by not emailing if you don't have the money or desire to pay what the car is worth. Unlike other posters who state their price is firm & then 2 mo later list a lower price, I will not take lower & will not be posting a lower price. Once November hits (or first sign of crappy or wet weather) it goes into the garage under cover with trickle charger on battery. I rarely if ever drive in the rain (not afraid to, just tend not to take the NSX out when the weather is bad) & when I do, no leaks from targa roof nor any issues.... So once again, if not interested in paying this price, don't bother emailing me as I simply delete your email & certainly will not respond.

Don't see very many Monte Carlo Blue up for sale, and certainly not at this price point/mileage with the mods. All of the mods are sorted: supercharger bypass hose was replaced last year as well as timing belt, filters, bushings... pretty much all consumables have been replaced (spent $12k since I purchased on service at Lynnwood Acura). All hoses replaced with blue silicone hoses, front brakes done late last year at Lynnwood as well, I have receipts for all work done since I purchased a little over 2 yr ago.

Car will remain up for sale until November at which time I'll be placing back into winter storage

Here is link to a few pix I shot the other night at request of interested party. No scratches on front bumper: those were bugs from my drive the night before
