Details:
Extremely well maintained 1996 NSX-T. This was my first NSX that I purchased almost 3 years ago from the 2nd owner in Ponte Vedra FL. Even though the car had been well maintained by the prior owner, I set about baselining and performing preventative maintenance. The only real surprise was the VVIS missing/loose screws. The screws were discovered safely resting in the "belly pan" of the intake manifold thankfully and I had the screws welded to the plates. This was before SOS came out with their VVIS delete kit. My approach to maintenance is 1) doing all that can be done "while you're in there" and 2) I love shiny, clean new OEM parts so I throw parts at it. My friends make fun of me because, well, it's a rather expensive way to do things. A prime example was the cooling system overhaul. All that was really needed to be replaced was a failed thermostat, but I chose to make a project out of it and replace all coolant hoses, all coolant hose clamps, the heater control valve, new Koyorad radiator, the thermostat housing, coolant expansion tank, expansion tank cap, and of course the "special bolts" that fit the oil cooler. Bullet proof cooling system.

I have also replaced a number of interior bits and pieces, such as the center console, armrest, center A/C vents, horn buttons, mirror adjustment switch, shift knob, and shift boot. This nicely refreshed the interior. The window switches are new as well, and the prior owner dealt with the window regulators, so no slow window issues here. All rubber seals were treated with Shin Etsu grease at least once.

Car was paint corrected, polished, and a 5-year Gyeon ceramic coat applied. The seats were leather treated. And the seats were removed so a deep carpet cleaning could be performed. Smells fresh inside.

The car originally had a Wings West full body kit, but only those side skirts remain. I was returning it to OEM but bought my "new" 97 NSX before I finished. I do have BNIB OEM side skirts with seals and clips available at extra cost if the new owner is interested. I also bought an OEM 2002-2005 lower rear bumper valance that I had considered at one time to install but this is also available.

The last project I did on the car was to convert it from EPS to manual with the Quaife quick steer upgrade from NSX Rack Repair. I was unsure if the EPS unit needed a rebuild so I opted to convert it to manual. I absolutely love this upgrade, but if the new owner wants power steering, I am willing to make a deal for me to retain the manual rack as it'll go swimmingly on my 1997.

No issues with the car at all minus some condensation in the right taillight. So annoying; this just cropped up.

Modifications:
- Pride headers, hi-flow cats, exhaust
- NSX-R front sway bar, Cedar Ridge endlinks
- Bilstein struts, Comptech springs, new OEM tophats & rubber
- EPS to manual steering rack with Quaife quick steer upgrade
All new parts for this conversion: inner and outer tie rods, u-joint, SOS bushings
Did this conversion myself, but had it adjusted and an alignment at GT Auto, Edison NJ
- Volk Challenge wheels w/brand new Dunlop summer tires
- Davis Design Fab coil guards
- Desmond Wong keyless entry system
- Bossla LED headlight upgrade
