i own a 1992 NSX and got the itch to buy a used jaguar xk8.
bugged my friends about it for awhile then went for a test drive at
sacramento jaguar. the salesperson kept telling me what a great sports car
it was. after the test drive she asked me what i thought. what i was thinking was that it basically reminded me of a chevy camaro, only better built.
but i did not want to hurt her feelings so i told her my wife might like it and did she want to go for a ride in my NSX? she declined.
i no longer have an itch for a jaguar xk8 and my sincere condolences to anyone who buys one in a fit of passion. it's handling is not precise and it is slow.
they are mostly automatics and the transmission may be smooth but i was not impressed with it's quickness. no wonder used they are so inexpensive. the market makes sure you get what you pay for.
