It's been a little less than a year since I purchased my first NSX from arturo9801, here on Prime. I can honestly say that I haven't learned more about any other car that I've owned in such a short period of time. This thing is a treasure chest and it just keeps giving. I've really enjoyed the drive (and the looks from people have been numerous). So, why am I selling? As with many things, things you love often take up a lot of your mind and time. The NSX has totally taken over my free time and I've realized that my son is not waiting for me to grow up . He's my priority and that's the way it should be. I'm changing my vehicle to change my priority - looking for a CNG car (I know, big change) so I can make my commute quicker and get home sooner. I know that I'll be back someday, or maybe my son will .

Additional Information:

NUMBER OF OWNERS: The carfax report states that I am the fourth owner. The previous owner (arturo9801 on prime) bought the car from his step-brother but did not change the name on the title to his (to save taxes).

CLEAN TITLE Yes, the car has a clean California title. The car was originally purchased in California, taken to Texas for a few years, and then brought back here.

CLEAN CARFAX Yes, the carfax is clean. No accidents. The carfax does state a mileage discrepancy which was a DMV typo.

HISTORY OF ACCIDENTS:
Does not apply.

HISTORY OF PAINT/BODYWORK
The previous owner swapped out the hood for a carbon fiber VIS hood, the rear bumper for a GT ONE bumper, and the side skirts for vented side skirts. All of these were painted to match the body color. The front bumper was painted to match the hood. I don't have the OEM parts but Art does in his storage in Texas.

MAINTENANCE HISTORY & DOCUMENTATION
I have a .pdf file detailing all maintenance history prior to my purchase of the car. I have detailed history since then as well in paper format. Prior to my ownership, the TB, WP, and hoses were done at near 75k, the trunk and engine struts were replaced. I replaced the tie rods with OEM tie rods and replaced the worn boots just a few months back. I also replaced the battery with a brand new Interstate battery. The window regulators have been rebuilt completely by ChopsJazz (Ken) with new window fix it thingies and new metal wheels to replace the breakable plastic pieces.

I have had all my work and service done with Jim Russell at Belmont Auto Care. He worked with an original NSX engineer and knows his stuff. I'd be happy to connect you with him for his thoughts.

CURRENT CONDITION OF WEARABLES:

TIRES - If you choose to purchase the car with the BBS RC Rims, the tires included have barely 500 miles on them. They are Bridgestone Potenza Re090AS tires. If you choose to purchase the car with the stock rims, the tires are YOKOs and have medium life left in them.

BRAKES - Last inspection, the brakes look great. The calipers could use a new coat of paint, but I'll let you choose your own color.

BELTS, HOSES - TB, WP, and Hoses were replaced at ~75k.

SUSPENSION COMPONENTS - I replaced the tie rods with brand new OEM tie rods just a few months ago. The boots looked worn as well so I replaced those too. I replaced the tanabe springs from the previous owner with OEM springs from an NSX with 25k on them. They are in great condition. The bilstein shocks are also in good condition. Combined, the drop is great for cosmetics but not bad on wear/performance.

FLUIDS - Oil changes with Honda OEM parts are regular. Tranny fluid looks clean. I will change it when I hit my yearly maintenance.

MODS: The car has:

Cosmetic:
- VIS Racing Carbon Fiber hood (painted Sebring Silver)
- Vented side skirts (painted Sebring Silver)
- GT ONE bumper kit and lower valance (painted Sebring Silver)
- HID Lighting Kit

Drive:
- Dali racing front and rear sway bars
- Dali racing coolant billet tank
- Level 10 clutch kit and upgraded torque converter

Interior:
- Updated AC fitting
- Window regulators have been rebuilt (new wheels, new window fixit thingys)
- Double Din Center Console (currently painted Sebring Silver)

Sound:
- Pioneer AVIC-F90BT Head unit with Navigation, Bluetooth
- Polk audio speakers (need to have driver door speaker checked)
- Shark (s2000) antenna

NEEDS ATTENTION:
  1. Since the day the car arrived at my doorstep, I have had a very slight transmission leak. I have had multiple NSX specialists take a look and they say that it doesn't look like more than a seal that is out of place between the transmission and the torque converter. It hasn't bothered me, hasn't affected the drive, and the fluid level has stayed constant - so I didn't drop the money on fixing it.
  2. The EPS (Electronic Power Steering) is out and has been for the past 2 owners. It's really not necessary but if you want to fix it, BrianK on Prime will do it for around $250.
  3. The CCU (Climate Control Unit) is out. I have been meaning to get this fixed and will pay to have it fixed for the new owner either by giving you the $145 it takes to fix it (BrianK) or getting it fixed before delivery.
  4. The seats are worn; particularly the driver's seat.
  5. The trunk is missing the carpet, likely because the gaskets allow water in sometimes.
  6. The car is missing its front lip spoiler. I assume it was removed by the previous owner because the car was WAY too low for it to do any good.

$19500/obo.

Gonna miss this community. Thanks guys,
Asif

The spare tire is in my garage. It will be included with the purchase. I don't carry it around with me as I don't have an air compressor.
