Description:
Im selling my 91 NSX.

I bought this car late last year as a project. Now that im almost done,I have some other things that need priority and I dont want it just sitting. If no one buys it as is I will finish it and ask for more money of course. This car is not perfect,it does have its flaws so dont consider it mint by far.Pretty much all of the hard work is done already, just mainly cosmetics left to do.When we got the engine, part of it was stripped and checked for wear.Timing belt was not changed since it was fine.

If your looking for a NSX car to strip and track then here it is -or- spend a little more time and money to finish it off.

Here is a quick list of some mods.

Engine/Transmission:
-Newer model "95-96" engine with 60k miles, converted back to throttle cable, matched tranny
-Newer model "95-96" tranny so you dont have to worry about snap ring problem
-Motor harness, intake mani and throttle body swapped to "91-94" to eliminate drive by wire
-Spec pressure plate and 1 carbon metallic disc,1 oem disc in setup.Pedal feel isn't hard at all
-Injen polished short intake
-Fresh coil packs
-Fresh coolant bottle since they tend to crack due to sun exposure

Exterior:
-New Grand Prix White paint job including jams, frame & roof like 95+ models
-New front bumper, oem with molded wings west lip style, shaved oem blinker lights
-Painted CF hood with black inserts, mesh on car also painted black
-Vinnys side skirts with reinforced brackets
-New oem NSX-R center tail light
-Taitec rear widebody panels
-Shaved antenna

Interior:
-New Science of speed double din bracket "not installed"
-New floor mats in black/white
-Oem door panels off newer model

Wheels/tires & Suspension:
-Racing Hart CP035 wheels 18x7.5,18x10 with matte centers/polished lips
-New tires all around including Eagle F1 run flat rears
-Tires are 215/35/18 fronts , 275/40/18 rears
-New Hawk Pro brake pads front and rear
-Comptech lowering springs
-Wheel locks all around
-H & R 25mm spacers out back

Misc:
-New Science of speed engine hatch struts
-New oem NSX key in black/red
-New Cimota trunk struts "not installed yet"
-New intake mani & runner gaskets

A reminder this -IS- a project car so it will have its work needed. Here is the list of what I can think of right now.

The Bads:
-Trunk has no panels at all,its stripped
-Dont know if radio or climate control work,I haven't connected them.
-Missing some interior pieces like driver door handle triangle cover, center speaker cover and arm rest if I dont find it.
-Seats and door panels are good but not 2005 mint either. If you are nit picky then again - this car isn't for you
-Bezel or "center console" cover isn't in great condition,it was cut to fit a double din when I got it.I planned on recovering the whole thing in suede anyways
-Car has alarm I havent fully disengaged so to start it I use a push button start. What I was gonna do is put a s2000 start button were the cig lighter goes even after I fully remove the crappy alarm
-Carpet is in bad shape. Its faded and the previous owner dug a hole in carpet with his gas foot.Apparently he didnt believe in floot mats
-Driver side window goes down but wont go up without help.I was gonna fix the track myself but havent gotten to it yet
-The a/c hoses are cut coming out of the compressor.Thats how they came and I havent gotten to getting new hoses.A/C condenser is off the car,the metal hoses leading to it are snipped.
-Some overspray on some rubber gaskets like by hood.I will get the bodyshop to remove any possible when I get time
-Wheels have some small chips on black part
-Needs new motor mounts in near future
-Emergency brake isn't hooked up yet
-Could use a re-tint

Info:
Only selling it because like I said I have priorities I gotta take care of and I want another car already which will prob be another nsx...but this time a targa. ;)

If you look at my build thread,I put a lot of work into this car so far. With the newer engine being worth about $6,500+ or so on average with matching tranny,I feel my price is pretty fair.Especially with totaled older NSX's wrapped around a tree going for $10,000.Note that when I got this car it did have a salvage title. The guy I bought it from told me it had got stolen before.I have a print out of the original ebay ad with the whole description. If you look at the paint pics you will notice the frame looks just fine. When I changed the title to my name it came back clear.Just trying to keep this as honest as possible.

I have saved whatever records possible since i've owned the car including original ebay ad,bill of sale to me,receipt of previous owner buying the car from a dealer, receipt for Texas emissions test & sticker, receipt for initial insurance quote to get title transfer,Texas registration, some receipts for parts and pics of the build all in a folder.

Car will be for sale in about 2 months so this is just a heads up.In the meantime I will be cleaning up,tweaking whatever needs tweaking and looking for my next car.

I prefer a local buyer so they can check out everything in person.
