I am moving DC and bought a ridiculously expensive/overpriced house that only has a carport so I have decided to downsize my life and hobbies. The car is only offered for sale on prime because I do not want to deal with....well you know. If I do not sell it before I move in one month I remove ad and will keep it and put it into storage like a time capsule and drive it once and a while in the summer. Quite honestly I might change my mind and keep it at any moment. I am not interested in low ball offers.
I originally bought the car in March 2005 from Bill Gash (honda4281) for 34,500. He took me into his 10 car garage and had me put on white gloves before I could touch any of the cars. He had 3 NSX's total and a bunch of other collector cars that were on rollers in his personal carpeted showroom. Take a look at his gallery it is pretty impressive. He had purchased this one for his wife as a daily driver and she did not like it. If you look at his post history you will see that he liquidated all of his cars. Needless to say the car was in great shape and I bought it. Here are the mods that were on the car at the time that are still there:
1. Built in K40 radar and laser detector.
2. Ivory floormats with Ivory lettering that were essentially brand new that I have never used and still have. I have the black ones with silver lettering in the car right now, but they have been in use for several years and are worn. The ivory with ivory lettering are hard to find any more.
3. 2000 silver and grey factory rims (they are now powder coated wrinkle black). I also have a spare set of 2000 silver and grey factory rims that come with the car that I bought seperately.
4. Xenon headlights.
5. Injen intake with K&N filter.
I owned the car for almost 2 years and then the snap ring broke. So in early 2007 (around 45,000 miles) I invested about $12,000 in the car and had ALL the maintenance done and while the car was torn apart and decided to have some additional mods installed. So I had the following new equipment installed and maintenance done that are less than 20,000 miles old:
6. New OEM clutch, timing belt, water pump, tensioner, throwout bearing, gaskets and seals, etc, etc.
7. Cantrell concepts headers purchased from SOS.
8. All new transmission rebuild with new case, as required for snap ring repair, short gears were added and purchased from Dali. I shipped the transmission to California and Mark from Dali had the guys at Scorpion rebuild the transmission.
9. New taitec gt lightweight exhaust purchased from SOS.
About 3 years ago I replaced all hoses, it is a pain in the ass by the way.
10. A year and a half ago the climate control stopped working, so I took the opportunity and had Briank repair climate control, and repair amps in all 3 speakers.
11. I just installed a new battery about a week ago.

HISTORY OF ACCIDENTS? (IF YES, DETAILS) none
HISTORY OF PAINT/BODYWORK? (IF YES, DETAILS) There is some touch up on the front bumper cover that was there when I bought the car from Bill. It is about the size of quarter and a couple of dimes. It really never bothered me that much so I never had it sanded and resprayed. That being said I have another bumper cover in my garage that I bought a couple of years ago just in case, it has been painted and ready to install. It comes with the car.
MAINTENANCE HISTORY & DO YOU HAVE DOCUMENTATION? I have most all since I have owned, nothing before then. Pictures of paper attached.
CURRENT CONDITION OF WEARABLES INCL. TIRES, BRAKES, BELTS, HOSES, SUSPENSION COMPONENTS AND FLUIDS Brakes were replaced a couple of years ago and are good. Hoses done by me, see above. Fluids moblile one every 3k, no leaks, A/C works like a champ. Tires need replaced. The drivers side bolster is worn and has a small split at seam that is repairable. The car is not cosmetically perfect there are some rock chips, etc, but it is pretty damn good for 24 year old original paint. That being said it is in perfect mechanical condition and has been maintained the way it was supposed to be.
MODS if any (Are stock parts included in the sale?) Mods listed above...with the car you get:
1. Extra set of rims, 2000 stock gunmetal grey.
2. Original Exhaust.
3. Original Headers.
4. Additional original shift boot and knob, SOS billet shift knob on car now.
5. Extra set of almost new ivory floor mats with ivory lettering.
6. I have more nsx nicknacks that will all come with car, OEM touch up paint, extra hydraulic lifts for hatch, etc, etc.
7. I also have original sales brochure, owners manual, etc, etc.
8. Aftermarket car cover included.
9. Extra bumper skin.
