Ben ... thanks so much for doing this. I have always liked white, and find it quite interesting how few there are for the 2001 model year ... only six.
In fact, not many white at all for the five years you have sourced.
You are now showing 167 total for 2001. We were originally told 182. I am assuming the 167 is now the correct number.
Also, I am guessing that 2001 is the smallest yearly production of U.S. spec NSX's.

No problem!

Just curious, where did you see 182? I've seen 186 on a production number list before, but that list was organized by actual production date, not model year. For example, some 2001s could actually be built in 2000, and some 2002s could be built in 2001. This could explain the discrepancy. The count I did was the actual 2001 model year cars, irrespective of when they were actually built.

Ben . . . the number could have been 186. It was a number I saw quite a while ago on this board. In any event, the total for 2001 models were quite small.

I am guessing your number of 167 is now correct. Which ever figure, I do believe 2001 represents the least output for NSX's sold in the USA.

How many other years were less than 200?

Ben, thanks for your hard work in putting this together!

Any chance it could be compiled into an Excel spreadsheet available for download? (Either the detail by VIN, or just the summary totals?)

Yes, correct, 2001 had the least number of NSX produced.

The years that had less than 200 were 2001, 2003, and 2004.

I have all the data with all the VINs for 1999-2005 in Excel spreadsheets. All the summary totals shouldn't be a problem to compile into one spreadsheet. As for the VINs themselves, there may be privacy or misuse issues to address before we post complete lists of full VINs. Until then, I'd prefer to keep any lists of VINs posted restricted to "*T000001" or something like that.

Wow! Thanks for the great work. This is something I've only been able to speculate about since I bought my '00.

S.L.

Can't wait to see a full color coded spread sheet like the f.a.q. has. For some reason I'm partial to looking at the colored blocks.
