This near 'show car' quality Pantera requires relatively little to bring it back to its car show winning days. Conversely, you can simply drive it and show it as I have done these past 2.5 years. Summary
For sale is one of the most recognized Panteras of all time. Known worldwide as "Purgold", I re-registered this Pantera upon purchasing it in 2010. This is a rust-free California Pantera with a laser straight body. It runs great, shifts well, and is not prone to overheating as with some Panteras. This is in part due to having a Ford 4.6L DOHC 32V "cammer" or "modular" engine installed, which can be run all day while getting relatively good gas mileage.
To say this Pantera makes a statement is an understatement. Flashy, yes, but beautiful in execution. The depth of the high-quality paint work can only be appreciated by seeing this Pantera in person. The paint work is just shy of show quality with only a couple of minor blemishes. Rear valence panels are flush with no seams. Tanks mounted on the transaxle were intended for nitrious and are for show only and never hooked-up.
