4 - 17 x 7.5 ASA JH3 Silver Painted Wheels. 5 x 120 bolt pattern. ET40 Offset.
4 - 225/50/HR17 Dunlop Wintersport M3 Snow Tires
4 - BMW Center Caps
I Paid $1016 + Shipping from Tire Rack
Used 2 ½ winters on my E46 M3 and driven approximately 15k miles. The wheels are in very good condition. The tires have plenty of tread left.
The wheels should fit all E46 and other BMW models (anything that takes a 5 x 120 bolt pattern and can fit a +40 offset)
Go to the Tire Rack website or call them to confirm fit for your non-E46 BMW.

One wheel has minor curb rash on the lower left, as shown below:
