Just bought a set of 17"f/17"r Forgelines for use at the track. Any of you tire experts out there advise as to what sizes will work out?

Kumho Victoracers come in:
225-45-17 f
255-40-17 r

Kumho Ecsta V700 come in:
225-45-17 f
255-45-17 r
255-40-17 r

While I won't be running with TCS on, I would like to know if this stagger is close to acceptable and will the 225/45 front clear the inner fender liner? The car has Eibach springs.

If the wheels are wide enough, I would go with Kumho Ecsta V700 235/40 17 Front and 275/40 17 Rear. I have older Forglines in 17/18". I run 235/40 front and 285/30 rear. I would prefer a 285/35 rear but it isn't available in the V700.

I believe the concensus among most of the NSX track people are 235/40/17 and 275/40/17. There are some rubbing issues at full lock and you may need to get rid of the plastic liner in the wheel well. But just think how much lateral traction you're going to get!

But it's got to be pretty tough to turn from a standstill.

Could you tell me more about your Forglines? I'll shoot a private email. Thanks.

235/40/17 works on stock ride height or up to 1 inch lowering.225/45/17 needs to have the linner removed.tcs is not a factor with either matched to 275/40/17 rear.yoko a032r,and toyo ra-1 have the 235-275 combo .pirelli p0-c has 225-275 combo.
