I just had to chime in for a sec and thank you all for the persuasion to get me into this car, and for all the great advice this board provides. I bought my car (a spotless 15,000 mile green 94) one month ago today, and I must say....I love this car!!! Do I miss the 996......nope. I think people on this board have addressed every quirk, question, or dilema that has even thought about crossing my mind. You guys are a great crowd, and I'm thrilled to be along for the ride. Sorry for the questionless post, I just had to say that!

19,000 miles and counting.....FAST!

AAron,
I know where you are coming from as I also have recently purchased a 94 Green NSX with just 17k miles. The NSX now has 18,500 miles and all of them have been enjoyable for sure. Hopefully we'll hear great stories from you in the future.

Hi,
Same with me! Within the first several months of owning my Green '94, I put several thousand miles on it. This is definitely a road-trip car if there ever was one.

By the way, Brooklands Green Pearl is a very underrated color, huh? I was very unsure about the color until I actually bought one. I have to say that I am very satisfied with it- it resembles black, but it also shows the car's lines well. A lot of people, including the Acura/Honda salespeople and NSX techs here, really like the color.

I agree that the Brooklands Pearl Green is an exceptionally good color for the car. You get the stealthy looks of a black car with the better contrast to highlight the style and lines of the car. I have had mine for 2+1/2 years now and get compliments all the time. Yes, I put many miles on mine the first year as well. The car is meant to be driven...so who am I to argue!

Can I post here if my car isn't green?

Congatulations on the one-month anniversary. Will you be taking it to the track?

You bet, In fact I think a group of us from the office will be going to gingerman this thursday. I just haven't decided if I'm taking the NSX or not, it will probably depend on the weather as I am trying not to drive it unless it's a really nice day. If you want to go we will be there from 6:00 to 8:30, it's an all you can drive test and tune night. I am not not sure what Dan charges per car, but it's not much (25 or 50.00 or something like that). Let me know if you are free,
Aaron

I have a green/tan (but racing seats now) NSX too!

For some reason, I think
green NSX owners drive theirs more than anyone else.

I've put almost a 1,000 miles per month
since I got mine over 2 years ago. I've done some mods that make our green car look a little
more aggressive. I think green is a nice color, but it makes the car look too fancyish...
maybe its just in my head. Anyways, I've posted pictures of my car in the Picture section if you guys wanna see a modded green NSX.

Hi AaronR,
Now exactly how you feel. Have my own NSX for about five weeks now and already clocked about 3300 miles. Can't get enough of this car.
Congratulations with it and have lots of fun.

I don't know about that mileage thing and Brooklands Green cars. I drive my Berlina Black NSX quite a bit actually. I have had it about 3 years, and I bought it with 57,474 miles on it. It now has 111,077 miles (and that includes many months of storage when the snow gets too deep to drive in). It is not unusual for me to put between 2,000 and 3,000 miles on the car in a month during the summertime. In the end, it doesn't matter what color your NSX is as long as you drive it and enjoy it. Maybe I'll just buy winter tires this year and keep driving. Hmmmmmm?

LOL !

Sure, if your NSX rolled around on the lawn after the spin and ended up with grass stains all over, then it counts!

I had my 91 Red/Black 44,000 mile car for a month and a half and have put about 800 miles
on it. I can't believe how good the car drives on long distance/highway driving. Dan

I drove my car over 12000 miles in the first six months I had it -- it's a great car. Of course, I've only put a couple thousand on it over the last few months, but I've been busy being dot-bombed :-(

These cars are a blast for sure!
