You know I was at the raceway and the other day and I ran a 13.356 at 106.034mph. And everyone around me just hated on me. They said that it wasn't possible and that my car is not capable of running that low of a time. I have Ark exhaust, Daly Racing Test pipes, and Ecu chip with a 93 ecu on my 91. I had it on camera and have the slips and everything. And I ran consecutive 13.4's right before. So give me some feed back if you can let me know what you all think about this.

I thinks that's pretty fast. Do you have a stock gear-set on your trans?

Thats very normal. I havent been down the quarter yet but with the right drive i know a na1 could go 13'5's to 13'6s stock.

Everything is all stock just the 93 ecu with ecu chip from daly racing. The exhaust and test pipes. I just get mad cuz people hate sooo much cuz they think that it isn't possible for me to run that quick with just that. I just wish they could have all been there. It was fun. I'd never been to the track before, it is a whole different experience. Anyone run anything similar?

I ran a 13.80-ish stock:wink:

i remember in the other forums stating that the track at sacramento is extremely bad to drive on. i spoke to many 300-350whp LS1 cars running only a mid to high 13. so if this is the same track, than i can understand why everyone is hating on you. that track is supposidly impossible to get a fast time on.

A lot of cars do run crappy times out there but I didn't for some reason. My first two passes were real bad cuz i either forgot my TCS was on or I burned out all through first. But once I started locking up good my times kept getting better and better. I think that my times were too close together to just be a error. 3 13.4's in a row and then I hit the 13.3. It was nice and cold out and seemed like a good time for driving. I thought I did pretty good.

Did you go to sac for the test and tune? It was my first time going to that track. My friend talked me into it, I guess I could say that I was happy that I did. I would really like to run better, at least a low 12 so that I can beat my friends 78 camaro. He would be so mad lol. But I just got laid off from work so I'm hopeing that I can actually keep my car. I hope it doesn't come down to me selling it. That would suck:frown: I just have to keep looking and hope to God that I end up with a job in a month or two.

Sorry to hear about your job. Hopefully sonmething turns up for you soon! With regards to the Test & Tune, "Litespeeds" set it up about a month ago. Your times aren't bad at all. What was your 60' time? The track was really slick when we went and we all had to make adjustments. It's all about your launch so I am sure there is room for improvement.

Unless you do some serious engine work, weight reduction and drag slicks, your best bet to get into the low 12's would be to go the Forced Induction route or nitrous. Hope to see you out at Sac Raceway someday.

I ran a 2.09 on my 60'. My friend says that that was pretty good for a first time runner. I guess now that I think of it I shouldn't worry about the so called friends that hate on me when it is mommy and daddy that pay for all their things and I am the one that bought the nsx myself with my own money. Being spoiled goes to some peoples heads. They don't even work for anything that they have so I should feel better that I was able to run the times I did and not worry about the haters that don't believe me. I should be happy to be a 21year old that owns a nsx outright with my own money. Hope things get better and I can keep it for a little longer. Ryan if you guys go again let me know and I will give you my email or number and I could meet you there with some supra buddies and we can do another run. I would love to see a supercharged nsx out there, that must feel insane. What small mods could I put on that might lower me to at least a high 12 to a 13 flat. I again only have exhaust, test pipes, and 93 ecu that is chipped. And what are some decent prices for small mods?

A set of headers should give you an extra 15-20 rwhp, which should put you in the time range you are looking to achieve. RedlineRex has run a 12.9 with pretty much the same mods as you + headers He has a 91-94 3.0L. I'll definitely let you know the next time we head out.

Ugh, I swear, reading this thread makes me wish I just got me a '91 NSX first. And then just upgrade to a '97 later...:D

From what I "think" I read, you are running the stock gearing (5sp). If the $$ situation changes for you, I'd strongly recommend the the r&p (4.55 or 4.23) and NSX-R short gear upgrade. That would be the best mod to knock several tenths off your time w/o adding a single HP. One thing I wish I would have done was upgrade to the NSX-R diff. clutch packs to make the LSD a little more aggressive. Oh yeah, might as well do the clutch too while the tranny is off. Big money, but will probably net you the best increases in your ET for the $$$ w/o going FI.

Are you from the Sac area or just made a trek to Sac Raceway?
