Does anyone know how to install the 02+ mini spoiler? I have none of these in stock and would like to install it today. Any pics of instructions would be greatly appreciated:wink:

If you're referring to the OEM piece, you're going to have to cut a rectangular hole in the trunk right above the striker. This is the primary location that the mini spoiler attaches. Then you'll have to drill 8 holes to fit the pins that align the rest of the spoiler. You'll also probably want to get some double-sided tape for good measure.

Easier way is to cut the bracket and pins off the mini spoiler and just use the double-sided tape. Less expensive way is to get the copy from Dali for like $100.

I bought the mini spoiler from Dal Motorsports for $100 already painted for $100. Im not drilling holes in my trunk and only plan on using double sided tape. Will this hold it alone without using self tapping screws?

Double-sided tape should hold it well enough. You can also get an adhesion promoter for double-sided tape that improves the bond dramatically if you want peace of mind.

Double sided tape will hold it on, no problems with it here.

since I started this thread, ill figure I can 'jack it, whats your opinion of that Dali Super Sucker?

Wheelman, your FI too, waste of time or install it.

I have no experience with it but it sure is expensive. Are you going for the carbon fiber look? If so, just buy the comptech cf air box cover..which is around $300. You"ll like it...I do.

I use the comptech cf cover with uni filter and cantrell intake..it's good enough for me..somethings are just too expensive compared to the gain.

You got ask yourself.."Was the juice worth the squeeze?"

You know if anyone on this forum know what that means or where's it from....It would be me:biggrin:

I have the Cantrell ACIS, and the Dali piece wasnt that expensive $300 if I remember. I like the Carbon Fibre look. I have the CF everything. Type R soiler, front lip, engine cover, and I need more. Im addicted:biggrin:

I know what you mean...cf is addictive. Like shoes to women.

Well then, by all means slap that thing on. You'll be happier.

Is it just the intake tube that has a cone filter on the end? Dali sells a bunch of different versions..which one is it?

I have the Dali one and with automotive type 3M tape it works fine. I think most important thing is to make sure both surfaces are clean.
