02+ Front Bumper Bolts

I'm missing some bolts on the front bumper, in the front grill (mouth), upper portion. I bought a set of 10 (Honda PN# 90111,SM4-003 Bolt, Bumper) and I want to confirm that these are the right bolts? They stick out a bit and are an eye sore to me. But if that's the way Honda has it, I'll keep it that way.

Does that look correct? It goes bumper->clip->bolt.

I can't tell for sure because the pics are so close, but I believe you are pointing to the license plate holder bolts. Since you are not running the large plastic license plate holder, you really don't need those bolts at all. In fact many just remove them and the metal clip since without that bolt the clips often fall off and get lost.

Thanks for your response. I finally had a chance to take a look at some OEM 02+ bumpers and it appears that you're correct in that the front holes are for the license plate bracket while the rear are just clipped on. Now I have a bag full of new oem bolts! Nifty.

Those bolts are good to have though. They are also used to hold the front lower lip on, as well as a few other places. Good to have a few spares.
