I am considering selling the front to get a oem 02 bumper since Philly is murder on this bumper i have already lightly damaged this bumper but can easily be repaired for $300 you can barley see it in the pictures but in person it is visible. I love the bumper but it is just too low for Philly. our streets are absolutely horrible. and I would fell like a total ass to destroy a bumper which member nsxnbrla put a lot of hours almost $2k just into modifying it right. it was modded and painted 3-4 times over a 6 month period before it became as perfectly shaped as it is now.
the 91-98 burn-up front bumper new is 1,627 from sos
they dont make this bumper for the 02
it took 3-4 different attempts and paint jobs to get the bumper to look as is does now. there is no other like it.
I am considering selling it for the highest offer over 2000.
couple people mentioned its worth around $2500
I will have it fully repaired and primered ready to paint and install before sending it out. this will take 2-3 days. or send it out as-is for $2000. it will cost you about $300 to repair and prep it ready to paint.
or you can buy a new one then send your car to the shop 3-4 different times over the next few months and spend 2-3k getting it look as right as this one does.
I personally don't like the normal burn-up bumper and you need a realllllllly good fiberglass guy to totally cut the curved bottom lip and rebuild the bottom lip flat to remove the fish mouth look that the burn-up bumper comes with. then cut and mold and re-mold and re-mold again untill the 02 lights fit properly and look like it meant to be that way.
if any one is interested pm-me I am having a hard time deciding to part with it .
