02 - 03 lower bumper

I was told at Expo that the bottom half of a 02-03 NSX front bumper will line up and mount to the upper bumper from a earlier NSX. Is this true?????? I can't see it being possible, however if it is I would really like to see if someone has a picture of it on their car. I think the look would be really cool especially if you're doing the 02-03 sides and rear it would finish it off nicely.

I think it's obvious from the photos that the answer is no.

Ken.......I'm not sure if it's so obvious. I really don't think it will bolt on as I was told, but I do think it wouldn't be as hard as we may think to "custom" fit it

This doesn't look so bad and the cars were at 2 different angles, if I had a more simliar shot it would even look better.

The center of our bumpers (1990-2001) come down on a 90 degree angle for about maybe 1.5 inches (just a guess) however the 02-03 bumpers angle down at maybe 75 degrees. So actually the center opening would start off coming down straight and then angles off to each corner, I don't think it would look bad. I'm just concerned about the way it mounts. But hey, if someone can make a NSX out of almost all carbon fiber I think we can get the lower bumper to fit

It wold be nice to see if someone doing the entire front end conversion could try the miss match swap first to check fitment and looks. The photoshop by jadkar looks pretty good and I would do it if it could be done well.
