I was driving home this afternoon in my Evolution MR listening to the radio when I hear catchy lyrics about driving from 0 to 60 in 3.5. After completing a Google search this evening, I find it's a song called "Shut Up and Drive" by Rihanna. Before you guys give me crap, I rarely listen to the radio due to repetitive commercials and playlists

Halfway through the song, I’m wondering if it’s possible for a female to exist that resembles this song. I will never know the answer but I’m hoping the answer is with somebody from NSXPrime.

Um... I think the whole "0-60 in 3.5" and the "shut up and drive" lyrics are mild sexual metaphores. As in, she's comparing herself to the exhileration of driving an extremely fast sports car.

They don't get shot out, they ALLOW themselves to be shot out by embracing all the bad vices. Rihanna's pretty good. Although she doesn't write ALL her own songs.

Based upon my research from last night I found "Shut Up and Drive" was written by by Carl Sturken and Evan Rogers for Rihanna's third album Good Girl Gone Bad (2007).

Your analogy on the song is right on. As per Wikipedia, the lyrics use automobiles as a metaphor for the persona in an offer of sex:smile:

She may not be around in 3~5 years. At the time being she already made it to the stage. How many people get a chance of that. Winner in my book.
