    quicker steering ratio??

I don't think the TC works in the way you describe. It works out from the steering wheel angle how far you have turned and therefore what to expect the wheel speeds to be. If it finds from the wheel speeds that you are not cornering as expected it reduces power to the engine. As you have a...

    NSX on a wet track...

I've just done a track day in the wet today. I did one a few months back with a poor wheel alignment, and road tyres which had gone hard from being on the track a few times before. It was awful. Today, with wheel alignment settings as suggested by TitaniumDave, and on Toyo R888s the car was...

winter go-fast crack pipe withdrawl - how do you cope?

In the UK we must have similar weather to you in Seattle. We're still on track now and will be all through winter. We have to let the ice melt in January but that's OK. I was on track last weekend in freezing temperatures.

Racing Schools in Europe & Japan

Just one of hundreds in the UK; http://www.silverstone.co.uk Every track will usually have a race school. In addition to schools its possible to hire a professional coach, usually old racing drivers for one to one tuition. These same coaches are also paid by current F1 drivers for training.

    Camber

Since the Honda dealer did an emergency alignment, which wasn't much, just straightened it out, I have had a decent job done. I went with fairly conservative settings to start with; Front: 1.0mm toe out, 1.0deg camber, 8deg castor. Rear: 1.0mm toe in, 1.2deg camber My new aligner allows me to...

    Comtech Pro Clones

I need a set. I don't care whether I buy them from Comptech, or get a set made up by Dave. If KONI (UK/Europe) can get me the dampers made in the same spec as the Comptech ones, then I'll get those here and save the shipping. So all I need is the mounting hardware.

Metallic Clicking Rattle/Noise When Going Over Bumps Solved...

Are these the bushes in the rack itself? Or the bushes that mount the rack to the car, as suggested above? Mine car clunks terribly, seemingly from the left side, which for me is the kerbside, where the drains and holes in the roads are.

    The OS Giken LSD/diff

That's good news for me to hear. I have just got my first set of R888's too. Usually the track tyres that you guys have are not available in the UK and vice versa. I think the R888's are quite new in the US, we have had them for years. Anyway, I haven't used any form of track tyre before. The...

    European NSX-event Sept. '07 ???

What are the dates for this event going to be? There's mention of 8-9 Sept, but the 'ring is in use on the 8. There's also mention od 22-23 Sept, but the 'ring is in use again. I would like to go, and also put the event on the UK club website, but only when the dates are set.

    The OS Giken LSD/diff

Has the oil changed the operation or feel of the diff? I have bought a complete gearbox from Dali, and a note attached said Honda MTF only, so that's what I put in it.

    Camber

Well today has been quite eventful. This thread is going to go a bit off-topic now though..... After playing with and messing my front alignment my Honda dealer did me a great favour and got the car up on the ramps, and did the alignment properly. They didn't have time to really get things...

    Camber

Ah well, there lies the problem. I have a camber gauge, and thought I'd have a play around with it. I realise now camber adjustments also affect toe. I have no idea what the toe now is, but it's more than it was. No real harm done, I'll just have to take it to an alignment shop and get it...

    Camber

This isn't a question about camber and the need for it. I have adjusted my suspension for more camber. I've never driven it with higher than standard camber before. Straight ahead the steering is really light. Logic says this would happen. It's quite un-nerving to drive, is it normal? I have...

    The OS Giken LSD/diff

I have the low speed-tight turn clunking. If possible I find it better not to apply power during such a corner to reduce the clunking. I'm wondering if it's like this as the diff is new, or whether it will lessen with wear. I'm also wondering if using a racing biased diff on the road like...

    The OS Giken LSD/diff

All the replies could well be true. I have to say I notice the effect more on the road than the track. It happens on the road as at a roundabout (something you don't really get in the States) you need to slow up when entering, but on exit can accelerate if the road is clear. It's this mid corner...

    The OS Giken LSD/diff

Anyone else here using as OS Giken LSD? I have one and find that when applying power in corners the diff tightens up the rear wheels, which in turn makes the car push straight on. I have plenty of grip in the front, but it makes it even harder to keep the car turning, as more force is needed...

    NSX shipping USA to UK

Why this talk of bringing back a Type R? We don't have any here either. We'd actually rather you brought over a load of cheap parts with you. Sign up to the NSXCB, and start a thread. We are in desparate need of parts.

    2007 European NSX event !!!

This post isn't going to help much, but in the UK we have managed to organise 40, yes that's 40 NSXs to a meeting in May. There's also a track session with about 15 cars taking to the track. For the European event I'd still be willing to do a simple drive and stay over in a nice scenic area...

    Oil cooler

I've got the same adaptor. I haven't got round to making the cooler yet though. Which way does the oil flow through the cooler? From top to bottom, or upwards? Also have you noticed any change in oil temps? Not sure yet whether to do what you have done, or put a water-oil cooler in the engine...
