    Official ITB Reference Thread

I saw the red-tail in your instagram story, figured you might be down this end of the world! If you’re coming to Melbourne drop me a line. Yes, Toda valve springs, and a few other reliability-focused modifications that haven’t been included in the post above, didn’t want to make the list too long.

Cooling the NSX: Fixing a Rare OEM Oversight

Paging @Kaz-kzukNA1, very curious to hear his thoughts on this.

    Stroker Club

140hp/L is pretty wild, especially at the rear wheels, without sky-high RPM. I'd love to see a dyno sheet!

The Pursuit of Personalizing Perfection - Track Addict's build thread

I particularly like the mount for the battery cutoff and remote reservoirs, one of many great details on your build. You two will have so much fun in Japan!

    Quick Ratio Steering Rack Review

Thanks for the review, looking forward to hearing about your experience on track.

The Ultimate ABS Solution for the NSX

That would be a discussion with 909 Motorsport. I’m sure it’s possible, you’d just need to work through the other parts required (sensors, switches etc.) assuming you don’t also have those since you’ve mentioned ‘module’ and not system/kit.

The Pursuit of Personalizing Perfection - Track Addict's build thread

So, I have to ask. I've seen a few people taking the 'shortcut' of breaking and removing the rear pane of glass, including this guy who helpfully made a video of the whole process: (and some pics of another attempt here: https://cartune.me/notes/LNAdx8f5gz) After going to the effort of doing...

Best way to Tune a NA1 NA ??

I'd encourage you to think about a good engine control unit and a quality tuner as being about more than just power. Committing to an ECU platform is an important decision, my advice: don't compromise to save a few bucks. For example: Drivability - how does the car perform in hot weather...

The Ultimate ABS Solution for the NSX

OEM and reasonably priced? Lovely. I will keep my eyes peeled.

The Ultimate ABS Solution for the NSX

Thanks for those numbers and the calculation Billy, very helpful context. That calculated bias is not ideal (not terrible either) - but it’s what I have to work with at the moment. There may be larger rear calipers in my future. Can you recommend any cost effective options for something sized...

The Ultimate ABS Solution for the NSX

The kit is actually from Biot, who don't seem to have much of a footprint outside of Japan. They have a pretty comprehensive range of NSX brake & suspension parts, these are what are on my car: Front: https://www.biot.co.jp/products/biot/2013/10/brembo4potmodena-320-honda-nsx-1.php Rear...

The Ultimate ABS Solution for the NSX

So, an update on the Bosch Motorsport ABS project. Thanks to everyone who has shown interest and asked questions so far. The kit development & installation has been functionally completed at 909 Motorsport allowing us to execute an initial shakedown at the track. Installation Details As I...

The Ultimate ABS Solution for the NSX

Thanks @Honcho - I have gleaned plenty from your valuable posts here over the years, so there's a little bit of you in those Speedhunters stories! As @MotorMouth93 said, these units are dissimilar despite similar external appearances.

The Ultimate ABS Solution for the NSX

Thanks for the questions Lance. Yes, being in Australia, my car is RHD. Brackets have been designed in consideration for LHD (the mounting points are present regardless of RHD/LHD), some experimentation and development will be required for brake lines - otherwise the system is the same. We may...

The Ultimate ABS Solution for the NSX

NSX ABS - Some Background As any early NSX owner knows, the ABS system the NSX was originally launched with is rather old fashioned and, by today’s standards, unusual. Someone referred to it as ‘steampunk style’ ABS and that’s a fairly apt description compared to the compact and clean...

How many Victorian NSX's are still about?

I don't get on Prime much these days, stoked to see some other Victorians posting - I drove past Essendon Honda in my NSX just last night, had no idea it was the regular meet up spot! I have a '92 BGP and would love to meet up with some other owners once the COVID madness is over. P.S...
