***SOLD*** 2004 NSX Wheels and Tires $3000 plus shipping. SOLD TO A NSX DUDE

I am selling four wheels and tires off of my 2004 NSX. They are the OEM wheels but they have been refinished a couple of years ago. The finish is good but a little flat as the OEM finish has a clear coat. The tires look new but I have no idea how many miles are on them because they were on...

    Leather Seats Worked Out Great

You will need a steamer, hog ring pliers and the plastic push pins that hold the upholstery to the frame. This was the full leather kit with the higher grade leather at Leatherseats.com. The best explanation for how to do it is watch their video as that is what I did and this was my first time.

    Leather Seats Worked Out Great

The first one took about four hours and the second one about two. The major difference was by the second one I understood how the seats assemble and I realized where to punch the holes for the fasteners was not rocket science so it went faster. \

    Leather Seats Worked Out Great

I bought a set of salvage seats here on Prime and replaced the covers myself. I used a Leatherseats kit and it was pretty easy to install. Take your time and use a steamer and it all works out pretty easily. The difference between a good install and a bad one is patience.

BEWARE OF 2022 ACURA NSX TYPE-S #129 IN CHICAGO GOLD COAST AUTO GALLERY

This is along the same lines as the Gold Coast Post but I like to convey this to anyone in the car hobby. If you think those guys are bad never deal with Marshall Goldman in Ohio. Marshall Goldman is a heavy Ebay advertiser which is where I first met them. Their photography of the cars is...

    JH4NA1152MT800062 - any Houston locals?

I am in Houston but I can tell you that with the added structure under the car I would pass and keep looking. I cannot fathom any reason, other than a bad one, to have added that framework

    Dry Ice Cleaning 2004 NSX

Here are some pictures of the process on my Z8 which had 25,000 road miles and had been driven in the rain. Some pics show a little before and after. The vendor also does a process called passivation which makes the exhaust seem like new. Note how the O2 sensor even cleaned up. The process...

    Dry Ice Cleaning 2004 NSX

I have watched the process on a couple of my cars and it is pretty time consuming. The dry ice is also a proprietary configuration in that the ice looks like rice kernels. It has to be in that shape because it comes out of the hopper and is pulled in a tube where it is shot out by highly...

You don't have to remove the undercoating. I removed mine because it was delaminating.

    Dry Ice Cleaning 2004 NSX

I had my 2004 with 40K miles cleaned up yesterday and here are some photos. We stripped off the undercoating because it was delaminating in some areas. It is an amazing but expensive process as it removes everything you want off but leaves the stickers unharmed. Here are some photos.

    Seat Foam

Honcho, I think I am just going to repair what I have. The good news is that this project is just for entertainment since I am restoring an extra set of seats.

    Seat Foam

To make it even more complicated all I really need is the piece that is on the side near the headrest. I think the answer is probably going to be just to replace it in that small area with another piece of foam.

    Seat Foam

I am going to restore a pair of seats back to OEM. The foam on one seat is a little weak. I could probably just buy some foam and make it work but does anybody know of a source for the seat back foam?

    purchasing rebuilt title nsx

Aside from the obvious mechanical questions you should check with your state to see their position on salvage titles. Some states will not accept a salvage title for on road use.
