Thanks for the tips!! I am going manual and not using the evaluative metering then. I was probably at f/2.8 and I was getting DOF problems too. OOO so much to learn.

OMG that is a GREAT Picture !!! how the heck do you DO that? I try to get the moon and it is always overexposed. I try to do infinity focus, spot metering and -4 stops on a tripod... I even tried some HDR and couldn't get a good one. You must have a 400mm lens+ or some serious megapixels...

Another point on backups. I totally agree with ROBR. BACK UP !! Get the $55/year MozyHome or Carbonite backup service. it backs up online/offsite and if your PC blows up, get ripped off or lights on fire you go buy another one at BestBuy and RESTORE. it will take a couple days to...

Great to see everybody out there. Was getting a little warm past 9:15am - going to be 106 today in Tucson!! I had to run to my pool. Here are some pictures of some F355s, Lambo Gallardo, Aston Martin Vanquish and NSX. Of course - the hottest looking cars there were the (5) NSX :)
