I'm not sure what your suspension background is, but just in case you're an amateur like I am what I learned was that the high end suspension are only as good as the tuning. Actually, it's much easier to have high end dampers ride like Poo Poo than it is for mediocre ones that were tuned for...
I've looked into this in the past and it's why I never bought the JDM with the white accent. My set is 100% oem down to the wire harness the ballast, bulbs, etc but all from the USDM catalog. I was worried about this exact same thing. While the cutoff beam pattern is determined by the little...
No one i'm aware of makes an adaptive kit for the NSX. JRZ teased one at SEMA around 2019 IIRC but to this day it's only been available to corporate clients, not the end user.
I've considered 3D printing a mount to my JRZs for the EDFC but i've heard the micro servo motors they use has...
I tried one of the earliest versions of this and in my case I noticed improvement in the "knock" but don't recall any change to steering effort. I do remember a few hundred miles later that the "knock" came back. I have a feeling the tolerances of those bushings might be all over the place. I...
Hi Everyone,
I posted a video on youtube i've wanted to do for quite a long time. I didn't want to someday get run over by a bus and all this useless NSX knowledge in my brain goes to waste. Given that nsxprime is THE BEST repository for such info and still the best place for trusted feedback...
I suppose this would be the most appropriate thread to link this video to.
Over the past several months I've been editing a podcast style NSX Buyer's Guide that lays out all of this and more. It got quite long so I had meant to edit it down further and add photos and stuff. Well.. Life is...
That's a great question. That might be worthwhile to mention but I'm also of the opinion of where do you stop! For example, 91-94 are the OBD1 vs 97-05 are OBD2 but within the 00+ it was considered LEV or ULEV (Low Emissions Vehicle vs Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle) but I can't recall exactly...
That's a great couple of charts gents! The nerd in me wants to add so much more like OBD1 vs OBD2 and 5spd transmission differences and even exhaust layout difference but I will TRY HARD TO REFRAIN lol
You are my hero! So rad!
Btw... i'm sure you won't be interested but i'll throw it out there anyway. The S2K CR rack on my NSX adds steering angle, and quicker ratio. Now you're making me want to get out there to try it! I love it on the canyons and track.
I haven't looked into the actual step by step process of performing cam timing adjustments on an engine dyno but since i'm on the Toda C's, my fear is we screw up the timing enough where metal to metal contact can happen
If Ken has your C engine dyno cradle done I might be able to bring mine out there. The tricky part will be the engine harness. Mine is currently stuck to on my car
