Anyone have an issue where there is clicking sound coming form the front of the vehicle in idle and disapears when you slightly rev the engine. Anyone know what this is?

Anybody know or have this problem. When I start the car up I get a gargle or a flooding noise from the engine. Sometimes it will stall and other times it will work its way thru the gargle and rev up afterwords. Any assistance would be appreciated.
