Well, it is a 93...couple years newer. And from a dealer. The respray probably adds a couple grand. It would cost me 6-8 for a proper respray down here. But mine includes a spare OEM clutch. So, hmmm. Maybe I am a bit low.

Don't feel bad. Made the same mistake on my Avalon beater. Code said bank 1 so I changed the front sensor. Turns out cylinder 1 (and thus bank 1) is the rear bank next to the firewall. Of course in case you didn't know, in the Avalon, the engine is in the wrong place (the front). ;)

Decided to have them stripped and powder coated a medium gunmetal. They turned out very nice. And as it turned out the old finish was not chrome. It was some kind of silver nitride paint. So media blasting the rims was not such a chore for the wheel shop as they had anticipated...

Just ordered a 2005 tie-down from acuraoemparts.com. (Delray Acura.) Hope they can get me one and I hope it fits. My original plate is wrapped in electrical tape as the coating was failing. That thing sure is close to the terminals. Not a great design, if you ask me.

The problem with selling them as-is: They need work. Two are nice and primed (NOT good for powdercoating), one needs some paint stripped from the chrome and the fourth could use minor repair on light curbing and small nicks.

I have a set of OEM 16/17 7-spoke rims that I am getting powdercoated. Not for me but for sale. Curious what color you think would look best on a black, red, or silver (most common) NSX. If none of the above, post your preference.

The problem with yellow pearl NSXs and S2000s is they don't photograph all that well. The good thing is they look absolutely spectacular in direct sunlight.
