Don, great to finally meet you and I enjoyed your company at Cars & Coffee. Tyler, Rahul, great to see you guys again too. I enjoyed meeting your friend Sam and his Viper, and the guy with the Silver '91 (Bob?) Sorry I lost track of you guys and will try to do better next time. That was a great...

    NSX Antenna

The Shark Attach II is a good choice for a short black antennae as it's a straight bolt-in. The Honda S2000 antennae is also good but it requires enlarging the opening in the inner fender panel. That's not at all visible from the outside or even with your head in the trunk but you do have to cut...

I'll be there! Thanks Rahul! My current state of affairs, working in the "new" unfinished garage:

Don, Rahul, Tyler, mine is up on jack stands again. Just replaced the suspension units and still have the tierod ends, steering rack bushings and O2 sensors to do. Oh yeah, a Downforce air scoop is on the way too. I hope to finish up next week, then I'll clean it up for the first C&C on April...

HA! Small world. Really nice car overall when I saw it 4 years ago. BTW, I see you suffer from insomnia too :->

I'll take your word for it  The owner I spoke with had just bought it from a Chicago owner, and the PO told the owner it was done by a fabricator in Chicago. In any case, it really was a nice job, tidy fabrication and welds.

Welcome, John! I'm pretty sure the original part number is no longer available, but the later lip, which has a slightly different profile, will fit. They get torn of easily but if your's is not too damaged, they're not too hard to reinstall. There are a bunch of discounted OEM sources online...

    [1st Gen] Devil Eyes

Well yeah, but if the intention is to paint it would be good to start with a less expensive material.

Tyler, your car does look great! Thanks for the photos. Rahul, I just saw your ad on Prime, and your car also looks awesome (haven't seen it in person yet)! Nice photos too. Love the BBS wheels! I'm heading to Florida tomorrow so my baby is tucked away, warm and dry :->

I wish someone made those in plastic or FG, to be painted body color.

Another vinyl wrapping thread. Questions inside.

^^^ Shinjyo is right on, on all points. I own a sign company and we've quit doing wraps because customers do not understand the realities. And that part of the business has become so competitive, there are a lot of bottom-feeder shops out there so you have to be super careful. IMO, wrapping is...

    Rolex 24

Right, that was my point, it's not based on the new NSX engine. Still impressive that a production-based engine wins the Rolex (I know it's not the only example).

From HPDs site: "Both the ESM and the Shank entries utilize the production-based 3.5-liter Honda HR35TT V6 engine, developed for competition by HPD from the Honda “J35” series of passenger vehicle V6 engines, with improvements including twin turbochargers. Key production-based components...

Rahul, that's the same car I posted a few pages back! Weird that it turns up for sale now. That hood is a one-off, it's a modified original hood. I saw it from the inside and the fabrication was really nice, but I agree it's not the best looking. The pictures I posted were taken at a Gateway...

Thanks Rahul! Yes, the Bilsteins and S springs are gone. Received the newer OEM struts yesterday and they loo almost brand new. Going to give them a try and see what I think.

Yeah, I saw that, thanks Rahul! From what I've read they may be quite a bit harsher than what I'd want, but I'm going to research that again. They're in GB so shipping could get costly. The two sets of "S" units I was checking on have been sold. I'm starting to think I should have stuck with...
