    Oem Spring from 02-05 Nsx

Dimensions are the same, spring rates are a bit different. I would only swap them in front or rear pairs.

Couldn't make it this Saturday, due to not having any time to even wash the car, due to record amounts of business and the birth of our 3rd grandchild on Thursday. I seriously wish things would slow down a bit. I did find a complete, very low mileage ABS system (only $300 from Ben at Daisey...

Any "Agreed Value" Insurance Policies That Will Let Me Daily-Drive My NSX?

I have my '92 insured through Leyland West. It's an agreed-value policy and there are basically no restrictions. Tons of extra coverage too, including all glass, emergency road service, towing, etc. I don't daily-drive it but I could; I do drive it whenever I want to. Very reasonable premium...

    Climate control help

Right, TRANSistor. Trans, Re, Bi, Cross... I can't keep all the sexual orientations straight  In any case, mine was doing the same thing and I sent the CCU for rebuilding, only to find it was the transistor assembly. Should have run through the diagnosis first.

    Climate control help

The fan only running on high is also a symptom of a bad resistor pack, which is located on the fan housing.

To upgrade or not - from NA1 brakes to....?

Yeah, I sent my '88 Carrera calipers there too. They do a really great job and their proprietary finish is awesome. I ran a lot of track days, overheated the brakes a few times and the finish remained perfect. Highly recommended.

    Aiming windshield washer nozzles

A push-pin works great for adjusting - hefty enough and you get a little handle too.

Yeah, that's a great little fix! Brings the deck lid up to where it should be. I added a drop of gel super glue to mine. There are little rubber bumpers at the headlights too (if I recall, two per side?) Those fall out and replacements will stop the headlights from wiggling.

To upgrade or not - from NA1 brakes to....?

For your use, you might be happy with refreshing the OEM components. I did that and it was a great improvement over the original worn-out parts. I had the calipers professionally rebuilt and polymer coated at Goldline, and replaced all the caliper pins, spring plates, bleed screws etc. Rotors...

Poll: Do you use the parking brake/gear/both?

If the brakes are really hot, I just leave it in gear. Otherwise both in gear and brake on.

    AC drain may be clogged

Just did this last summer on my '92. You'll probably need to pull the entire heater blower assembly to clean everything out. The ductwork is likely full of debris. It's a bit of a job but not really that bad - under the front hood. Download the manual here for directions. While you're at it, add...

How to bleed the 91 abs system without the T wrench

OK, I ran the pump to pressurize the system and opened the bleeder. Got *maybe* 10cc of brake fluid, so it sure looks like the accumulator. I'll order one tomorrow. I went ahead and ran the pump with the bleeder open and flushed new brake fluid through the system until it was clear. Replacing...

deleting abs on a street car??

Previously I would have said "delete it". But last weekend I did a three-day trip with the ABS disabled due to maintenance needs. An hour into the trip we hit rain and a car in front of me stopped really short. I was leaving extra room because the ABS was out, but I still locked the brakes and...

How to bleed the 91 abs system without the T wrench

I found that a 9mm, 12-point box-end wrench will fit the bleeder, so I'm going to try that with a tube into a measured container. I've also been wondering if there was any way to service the motor or pump to get it to run a little quieter., and your photos help. Seems like it would be easy...

How to bleed the 91 abs system without the T wrench

OK, thank you very much Kaz! This all makes perfect sense now. I will measure the fluid in the accumulator. I'll have to try alternate tools to the T-bleeder, unless I can borrow one somehow. That tool is apparently NLA everywhere - discontinued by Honda in Japan, I checked several Japanese...
