Hi Don! Yes, Simon said he talked with you and gave me your card, thanks! He was up late at our house the night before and kind of tired, but I was definitely no more than 10 minutes :-> His folks picked him up and he had a great time seeing everything. He swore he saw a Pagani pull in...

I am planning on being at Westport this Saturday, with my 8-year-old Supercar fan grandson in tow. We'll give the NSX a quick wash on Friday afternoon. It would be great to see you Don, and maybe Rahul, Ty et al!

So Don, are you saying that there's a Ferrari/Lambo meet every week at Fast Lane? Seems like whenever I have a free Saturday there's nothing going on

Man, your killing' me Don  I feel like I'm always making excuses, but this weekend it was a major tech upgrade (internet, phones, TV) at the office and shop. Just finished upgrading everything about an hour ago. I heard elsewhere that the Brit show was fantastic and huge! Frankly I'm a...

Yes, thanks Don! I forgot to mention that part. I've had that in inventory for a couple of years since it's a known failure. I'm replacing that too - gave it a shot but couldn't get into that tight footwell enough to see everything, so I'll have my Honda/NSX guy do it. Also have a small engine...

Man, I feel awful about this but I can not make this one either. The HKS exhaust I installed last spring has blown open and the car sounds awful! I have a new Circuit Werks exhaust on the way but it can't be installed until next week. I haven't been to the Westport C&C since the first one this...

My attempt at a DIY cabin air filter

I noticed almost no difference in air flow, but a huge reduction in dust in the cockpit.

Got these in the mail today from a kid who used to work for me. Thought of you Don when I saw the Hot Wheels. Pretty sweet, huh? Hope the weather clears soon so I can give The Little Red Whore a wash and start getting out!

Hey Don! Yes, I follow this whenever I get a notice. We headed out the Sunday before Christmas on a two-hour trip to see a photography exhibit. About 30 minumtes away the X just died; pulled over and it restarted immediately, so we headed back to swap for the BMW. There's a thread on Prime in...

    Odd engine quit

Did about 60 miles today and no issues. I'm hoping the old battery with a corroded positive terminal was the issue... we'll see.

Additional benefit - the window motors and seat motors work faster too

Napleton’s Acura West Palm Beach sucks 877-363-2817

Hoping you have your car back with everything properly repaired by now. If I had spent that kind of money on a new car only to have the dealer render it undriveable, I’d be pissed beyond comprehension. Is there a Lemon Law where you live? Acura owes you a replacement car!

    Odd engine quit

Thanks again Old Guy. Yes, I worked through those diagrams and was thinking the same thing. The Rockauto Denso with filter, and probably the gasket - was thinking of that too, should be a direct replacement. The other complete pump source turned out to be NA anyway. I'll go through the...

    Time for a New Battery

I just did this and the engine does start a lot faster. The 24F is only marginally larger and not much heavier, and it's the battery for the automatic cars so it's still OEM. Im thinking everything else electrical may work a little better too, we'll see. Good call BATMANs, thanks!

    Odd engine quit

Ran through a few things today. First, I was mistaken about the battery cable - that is Redbird's GROUND cable that I replaced. The positive cable is original and there was a bit of corrosion at the post. I thoroughly cleaned everything (would really like to avoid replacing that) and replaced...
