    Window regulator problem @ Hilltop

I take my car to Don only. Last time I was there he was doing some sort of window/tracking fix it. Having watched Hugabuga do mine last year, it did not look too hard, I just chose to have Hugo do it. As for price, Don is certainly not cheap, but you get what you pay for and I'm very very happy...

HELP: Is this car legit? JH4NA21694S000010

8 years of sitting...yikes!! Unless the original owner religiously brought the car up to operating temperature and then drove it half a mile every month would help.

Planning a trip to San Fran

If you go to Napa, suggest going to Franks Family and Cakebread wineries. Napa wine tasting is best done as an overnighter as driving back to SF is not recommended if doing wine tasting. Have fun. siD

    JH4NA1185TT000445 frame and body photos

Your purchase seems to me to be quite a buy...assuming the damage was properly repaired. Should you come to sell in the future, you may have a limited buyer market due to the salvage title...but may be able to get close to what you paid. In the mean time, enjoy the car. siD

How to handle an out of state sale of your car..

Couple of thoughts for you: 1. Could ask the seller for their home address. Ask the person buying the car on the sellers behalf to provide copies of the seller drivers license and credit card/debit card, AND, a copy of their most recent electric/gas bill. 2. Is the seller willing to transfer...

New owner. Mini fix it / build thread

This is probably one of the better thread reads for me. Nice when you have the capability and connections to work on your car. Make your car for you. As for the wheels, if you love 'em, good for you but for me they scream at me and detract from the lines of the car. Just me mate, but $hit it now...

I think I just need to drive one.

Bengl, your question is a loaded one and you'll get feedback all over the board. I went to my crystal ball to get an answer. My crystal ball said: Read Wiki and use the search function to learn everything you can about the car and feedback from primers. -Be picky, methodical in your search...

I think I just need to drive one.

Bengl, my view is to go look at one, touch, feel, drive and then have a "come to grips with yourself moment" and ask is this a must have car that I can enjoy for however long. If the answer is yes, then decide on year and color. Go to a local NSX meet, some may let you drive theirs, most will...

    New 2001 NSX-T silverstone with 8400 miles :)

If the car has been sitting a lot, and, you have original tires (now 11 years old), you may want to think about replacing the tires due to age. Just a thought you may want to check out like: http://www.wisebread.com/are-your-new-tires-really-6-year-old-ticking-time-bombs p.s. congrats on you...

What do you guys think of these NSX's for sale?

..and then there is the $6-7,000ish price difference between a 95-96 and 97+. Is it worth the additional cost! For me, the answer was no. Took 18 months to find the right car...and I jumped on it fast. Good luck finding a car...siD

    Regularly scheduled coffee meets

Enjoyed the drive and meet for a couple of hours. Weather was perfect, shoulda, woulda, coulda taken the top down and would have been even better. Great job James on setting this up and by my count we had 15 or was it 16 cars. I do think the judging was a bit rigged :wink: so to solve this...

    Bakersfield, CA NSX available.

Your post is like a tease, has little or any valuable information about the car, its location (besides in Bakersfield) and how you could help someone inquire about its sale. Please drive back and get more specifics, or your post may just as well be deleted.

    Sanity Check, Please

An AT can still be up/down shifted to keep the engine revs higher and give you that race feeling. Certainly a difference from a 5 speed. I up/down shift in my Grand National when I want to step on it. So I'm not sure in the end an AT will curtail you "race" moments. As for driving in congested...

I think my recent NSX purchase became more expensive... (pics+video inside)

Re: I think my recent NSX purchase became mor eexpensive... (pics+video inside) Does the dealer have some kind of "satisfaction Guaranteed" policy, many do. They say "sold as is" but then have the generic Satisfaction guarantee displayed in the window....an attorney may be advised here....
