M3 if you value your time... 996's are getting old. Get an NSX if you have a killer cassette tape collection that you've been itching to put to use. But in all seriousness... for a daily driver I would take a NSX over a 996 any day, then probably any other car over those two.

I wanted the wheels, side skirts, rear valance of the 02+ but didn't want the 3000gt headlamps nor the premium price tag so the 00-01 was the only way to go. OP, this car has been on the market for a bit and I doubt it's not because people aren't making offers rather he's probably not accepting...

Honda hasn't listened in over 10 years. Trust me, we tried. The car does look great though, gets better looking each time it's brought out of hiding.

Hahaha! The E9x took years to grow on me, this one is instant. I love it, besides those 6-series'ish wheels. with that being said, if the production version looks just like this I will have zero problems selling the NSX for it :)

Just run with the Kumho XS, awesome tire with similar grip to the RE's that you can get in OE sizing.

Kudos on an awesome collection through the years, this one definitely checks off a major box in Honda ownership. Shame that there were issues with the motor, but it's just a motor and can be fixed... There's not a hole in the block or anything of that nature... Take your time, it's a rebuild.
