Hello,
We're very please to announce we have finally managed to be able to have Recaro make NSX-R style seats based on the Pole Position ABE shell.
These will come as picture below just as in a NSX-R 2002-2005 without the OE price tag for kevlar shells.
Important to note,
These will use the...
Well let's clarify a few things
1990-2005 NSX auto's are basically all the same mechanically (yes, '94 had f-matic added, and yes, OBD-II and cats change for smog reasons)
The cast iron header is specific to the 3.0L engine so 1990-2005 auto still uses it.
Any manual exhaust line that is...
+1 the fit very poorly, I've seen them hit the rear cross member as well. Good quality headers like, TaiTec, Comptech, etc fit just fine.A acquaintance of mine has the 3.2L headers on his 3.0L auto and should have the dyno run's for it.
What i would test,
- Pull radio fuse in front left fuse-box
- Test drive the car until the symptom pops up.
- Pull the codes (procedure listed in DIY section) (I recall Australian delivered cars have UK spec wiring with JDM style ECU and OBD-II)
- Post up the codes here, this will let us know...
I don't recall getting any memo's here of issues with the Ferrari dampers, I do know it's a widespread issue with Audi RS.
On Maserati it does fail from time to time but nothing more than usual, it's roughly $1000 per strut on those.
To my knowledge all this stems from the Corvette C4 88 ride control option, which was I recall made by KONI.
I know that early 90's Maserati used the same setup form Koni and then later in the late nineties they renamed it "SkyHook" with Alfa/Maserati & Ferrari.
GM revised the system for the...
Hi everyone,
We have in stock a limited number of Genuine NSX-R 92-95 shift trim & boots, these are rare and like discontinued after we received this weeks shipment.
These will fit any manual NSX but are intended for 5 MT cars due to the shift pattern plate (NSX-R specific dark finish)
€150...
Well we might be able to get them if the restart making them later in 2016
As we bought all the remaining sets then all the lose springs and shocks.
I also had a mint set that was only test driven, but sold that last December.
Sounds more like very old or contaminate brake fluid, I'd flush the system and inspect the brake lines,
Supercar is right on SS brake lines those can really make a nice upgrade whilst your at it.
Concerning the master cylinder, RHD is mirrored I recall, should have both LHD and RHD on the...
Well not necessarily, a stock suspension car with all the swaybar and chassis is a very nice driving NSX and very stable yet comfortable.
Even if you where to drive that back to back with a KW V3 car you'd be impressed.
Especially with the NSX a balanced complete package is the key.
Very true, I've encountered random issue due to grounding issues before.
As for the main relay I have those on the shelf that i'll test on a nsx that's acting up just to be sure that isn't the cause.
This is a faulty VSS, the do fail from time to time.
It's located on the differential housing of the transmission, and has a wiring harness with a plug coming out of it.
Hi Rollo,
We supply all NSX Parts, and are pretty much the main European NSX Specialist.
I ship a few times a month to Switzerland and our pricing is so competitive Honda dealers purchase from us.
We also have a lot of discontinued and rare items and new old stock.
Should have a spare set of...
It's fun here, we have some odd ball combinations to deal with so keeping it all sorted is important.
For Asia we often supply parts to custom-order cars, and very odd interior and exterior combinations getting that right and clear before flying part around the world is tricky.
Then in Europe...
I can order these for the early cars, i have done this before. (i'd need to look it up in my accounting)
What often happens is that cars end up being mix matched since your combining ether multiple manufactures or installing a full system and just using what's quickest available.
I have done...
