You either haven't been looking long enough, or in enough places. Mid to high 30's can find you a great NA1 NSX. The FAQ pricing guide is pretty darn accurate.

No coupes for 02+, and yes - 02 is the year of the new front end. You can do an 02 conversion on a 97+ coupe. Or, you can transform an 02+ T into a coupe. Yes, there are a handful of 2000 coupes out there, but you could broaden the marketplace by including any coupes from 97+.
