Interestingly, I had this position before having three nsx's bought out from under me while I was arranging for someone to go look at the car.
After getting tired of being scooped(including by a prime member) I chenged my mind and decided to offer to buy after doing a quick VIN search on...
I am an electrical engineer and work for a SCADA(remote contol and data acquisition) company which performs work for oil&gas pipeline companies.
When a pipeline bursts, our systems isolate the section by remotely closing valves.
On the side, I own a company which does control and data...
It is a 2004 red exterior, black interior. 8k miles. black and red are my two favorite car colors. It would be nice to be able to trade for a different color in a year or two...if only for a summer:smile: .
Your car(before you bought it) was the one I was arranging for someone on prime to see when I was informed by the salesman 'someone drove up from NY and bought it'. ironically, I asked the dealer what you bought it for and he told me 65k. I think every dealer automatically tells everyone the car...
I have now won the ebay bid:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300187301344&ssPageName=ADME:B:BOC:MOTORS:1123
and need to get someone to take a look at it. Can anyone help..pleeease :)
According to mapquest, the car is located about 15 min north of Seattle
Actually, I just found out it is in Woodville, Washigton
at 232 st SE
The owner's name is Barrie. I can PM the phone number of the owner
He also indicated there is a mechanic on this forum who could do an inspection. Anyone know who this is?
I know the following:
1. there was a 2005 silver with 10k miles sold by a dealer for 70k last week. Interestingly, the original owner had it for sale at 69k in march of this year, but didnt sell it. its almost like the nsxs have appreciated this year
2.A 2004 blk/blk sold 2 weeks ago in VA for...
This is the same for 90's 911's. It's tough to find one up here for less than 20k...unless its in crappy condition. So based on the prices of older nsx's, the most I can 'lose' on my 'investment' is 65k-25k=40k. 40k for 15 years of enjoyment is about 2500 per year. Thats pretty good when you...
Well, i think most will agree, you buy a car like this for enjoyment while also trying to protect the investment(or maybe that is every car we buy). It would appear by observation that the value of the car depreciates almost exponentially with the miles on it. There is an 02 which has 13k miles...
Yeah, I talked to him, he is over my budget of 68k. He wants 75k
...the 2005 silver one on ebay with 3250 miles just sold this morning for 65k....I'm 5 minutes too late as usual...:frown:
...one day will be my day....
I cant do a tan interior, I'm too messy. And I cant do blue, the wife hates blue....so the longer I search, the more picky I get...red on blk, silver on blk or blk on blk, with blk on blk bring the preferred choice
I just discovered my search on ebay.ca does not give me items from ebay.com which do not have pictures...nice. I now see a silver on black on ebay.com, but no black on black. Do you have the web link? what is BIN?
maybe you're right(I'm just getting bitter because I cant get the car/color I want!!)... It just seems of late there are blue 2005s with less than 20k miles for less than 70k. one blue currently on autotrader, one blue on vast.
But there never seems to be black or silvers for less than 70k with...
Thanks! My first choice is a black on black with less than 20k miles, but it seems there are few for sale. I've found an 02 with less miles than an 05 and for 10k(15%) cheaper. Interestingly, it looks like Blue, yellow or orange are about 10% cheaper than black or silver. I guess they have less...
I found some info on a prior thread which indicated the console changes color.
I found info on the internet which states 04+ had keyless entry, CD changer and different headlights.
Can anyone confirm the above?
Where there any exterior styling diferences? Where there any other changes?
Is...
That would be really nice if someone could look at it for me. It is at American Service Center. I had talked to the guy Thursday, but he didnt have much info on it.
It is at this link...
