Looking for recommendations on a professional shop that has experience with the BBSC on the NSX who can do some updating to the system as well as an AEM install and tune. East coast preferable - located in Raleigh NC - can anyone help with some information?
Just an opinion from someone who has a few laps under the belt at VIR in different street / racecars including the NSX from instructing to wheel to wheel racing. Turn 1 and 2 at VIR is definately not a 2nd gear corner. I would assume you are overslowing the car at turn in (not a bad thing)...
Great to meet a couple of you guys and to see so many NSX's at one event! I was there instructing and getting some seat time in the M3 for the upcoming NASA race there in July, wish I would have had more time to chat with you guys. Post some pics!
I want to get in on this! I'm sure you guys had a ball at rush hour.
Good to see you guys again, I need to start checking in here more often to see when everyone is getting together.
I am obviously a little biased but I just don't think one can go wrong with an E36 M3 track car. Especially as affordable as they are getting these days. Don't get me wrong the 944 turbos are a blast (I have one for sale - shameless plug  ) but in terms of pure reliability and super easy...
The wheels are Blitz Technospeed Z1's. They were on the car when I bought it and I absolutely love the appereance. However the 19/18 combo is HEAVY! No biggie thought since she's retired from any track duty and they are perfect for bling blinging. I'm not sure if they make these anymore or not...
How about splitting the difference at 1:30 at Char Grill? Then whoever wants to drive to Garner can leave at 2:30-3:00. That way for the N. Raleigh peeps we got an hour and a half or so to hang and if we decide to go to Grill 57 we can, if not we've still had time to hang out. Also, 1:30 is a...
I like the idea of keeping it at the Char Grill. The grill 57 show is fun, but I think a small group of NSX's only would be kinda neat. My business partner just bought a black/black 91 so he's gonna be there as well.
Paragon Collision in Raleigh and Kenny Hawkins Automotive in Cary are 2 of the best body shops in NC in my opinion, and I am in the automobile business.
Story please!!! Like there is something fishy, I love it!!!
We purchased the car at Fredricksburg Auto Auction which is a Manheim sale. I assume DARCARS is the dealer that it was previously owned by, and hence it had been advertised by them before taking to the auction. Seems logical!
The car...

Fritz Flynn is a Mazda instructor (I am as well) and he is pretty quick no doubt. Those cars are lightweight, powerful, and handle well.
What are you times on the full course in the mostly stock NSX? Just curious.
