Cmthompson: Wouldn't surprise me if that was what happened. I'm scared to find out what other corners were cut during my service.
Rope: This is great advice, thanks! I believe the dealership that eventually got things fixed looked at where the belt was and the gears were where they are...
Yes, looked like the culprit behind the bogging and backfiring was old spark plugs with the one on cylinder #1 (i think) being especially bad. Why those were not changed during the service I cannot answer. After changing those, the car fine. Mileage, however, still hasn't really gone back up...
That's me! We've actually meet a couple times but it's so infrequent I'm not surprised you don't remember. I just bought a place in Livermore (used to be in Dublin) and I drop my little girl off at daycare on the way to work. I was pretty surprised to see you pull up next to me.
I do indeed...
Shawn,
Not sure where the info is coming from but there was already one GB on these and they sell these parts through many vendors, including several on Prime.
I have my new in packaging black Venair coolant hose set on ebay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/301141231723?item=301141231723&viewitem=&vxp=mtr) but more than willing to sell directly on Prime. My buy it now is $140 plus shipping on ebay, I'll sell it for $140 shipped OBRO.
Thanks.
Same question here as my cats might be going. I'm less concerned about better flow and more concerned about passing, I'd be totally happy with the same flow as OEM.

Looks like a very unique supercharger set up, anyone know anymore about this car or it's set up?
Figured I would update the thread. Speed sensor was replaced with no improvement. The car is now with Acura of Fremont where I've been getting great support. In hindsight I should have taken it to them right away but I was waiting for Shad to get back to me since the problem started after I...
Its a bit off topic but have you guys had issues with aluminium lug nuts? I had a set from work and they galled on the studs, ruining 4 of them and they were over $200 a set. After some research I found out you are supposed to lubricate aluminum lugs so they won't gall but that made it harder...
