First I bought the new Keenwood Cd changer and then the smart antenna only to realized the smart gadget only works with Alphine CD. I don't mind driving with the antenna up but it becomes a worry when I'm breaking the speed limit. Someone mentioned something about disabling the power harness...
I'm so used to driving my 98 Integra GSR with the soft gas pedal that whenever I get into my NSX, the gas pedal is neither smooth nor easy. For example, whenever I step on the gas pedal softly, I have to apply certain pressure before the throttle engages and when it does the engine revs up and...
JohnDoh, I feel the same. I took my car in several days ago about an aspirator buzzy sound and a sticky gas pedal. All I got was "the tech didn't hear anything and the pedal feels like butter." The tech is deaf and is butter. On top of that they failed to realized one of my wheel was off and...
I've just came from the dealer and they said I can't swap the driver and passenger back seat cushion. The back cushion on the driver side is half worn out, but not enough to spend ~$400 to replace it. While the one on the passenger side is still in excellent condition.
Has anyone swap the two...
My friends keep telling me there's a clip on the net showing a supercharged NSX beating a twinturbo Supra in a quarter race. Does anyone have/know where I can find the file?
Thanks.
Yes, I read the FAQ before posting (knowing the FAQ sniper out there...) I'm sure the FAQ does not take aftermarket wheels & rims, lowering suspension, etc into consideration. Then again, why should it?
Has anyone thought/attempt to self adjust their camber? My camber is a little off, but not enough to pull my hair out and start looking for new 18s.
What are the pro/con/no-no involved?
johndoh, there was no warning what-so-ever. It just happened (like most thing in my life.) The car is still drive-able at this stage; meaning no fancy quick pickup, but rather a slow start with some gas/clutch pedal controls. Anything beyond that would seem like I'm taunting the other...
Hail, FAQ Nazi!! I'll kill two chicken in your name!!
Yeah, I read that section before and (now) again. However, I don't experience any clutch pedal 'stickiness' or hear any funny noises when disengaging the pedal you mentioned. But I do experience the high pitch and high engine reving...
I was driving my girlfriend home from dinner Saturday night while cruising at 70mph when all of a sudden the engine started reving up. My first reaction was "oh, we must be going uphill" cause we were going uphill. In the other side of the hill while going down, the engine started reving...
Oh yeah, I meant chrome chip and _NOT_ crack. What was I thinking of posting the question?!?!
When I got the wheels, one of the 18' was chipped already, but been too busy to fix it.
My cracked 17 & 18 chrome wheels are giving me a major headache. I have to constantly pump up with air evertime I drive. Oh the pain and misery...<shaking head>
Is it possible to scrape the chrome off and polish my wheels? I could just get new polish wheels, but the IRS says otherwise.
After realizing how ridiculous the dealer were going to charge me for installing a new air duct vent ($200 w/o parts), I found the job to be very simple after another dealer lended me a copy of their service manual. Does anyone know any other place besides the dealer where I can purchase the...
Looks AWESOME!!! Where can I get the marga hills/phase headlight mod? I've looked around but could never get the name of it.
I think Christmas is going to be special for me!!
Does anybody know any repair shops in Washington/Oregon? Some sport shops here say I'll have to send my chipped 18' chrome wheel down to CA for repair.
My changer is installed vertically on the passenger side on the trunk floor. I'm thinking of either building a cage around it or remount it behind the engine on the driver side.
Replaced the thermostat and everything work fine again. As for the 'dropping' temp gauge, I couldn't repro that any more so I assumed it got fixed somehow.
I always leave the car idling for at least 5 minutes or so. And with the engine cover up, I can feel the heat from the engine. But the gauge still sits at ground zero. So this rules out the chance of a faulty engine. Then it could be a faulty gauge (sounds too good to be true) but that...
