I apologize for not making the drive. I had copied the address on a piece of paper but this morning grabbed the wrong one and wound up in Woodland hills looking for Starbucks. Finally went to NSX Prime and found out I took the wrong address but it was too late to go to Calabasas. I hope the rest...
We have a Thunderbird Club Christmas Party at 12:30 in Long Beach so we will be nearby and will attend your NSX party. Since I cannot choose between the Thunderbird and the NSX I will drive the Tesla (free charging). Thanks for the invite.
George and Daina.
I will be there solo and lunch if I can remember how to open the gas door. I was planning to take my Tesla to Fontana dragstrip on Sunday but my priority is my NSX since I missed the last ride.
I feel like an idiot. I went to the dealer and he proceeded to open the gas port. It turns out I had used the lever that opens the engine hatch. Since I hardly ever use gasoline (I drive a Tesla) and am getting old I forgot how to fill up. Also my air conditioning display goes out intermittently...
Mine used to give me problems too and a push would release it. But today I tried everything even prying with a screwdriver but to no avail. Consulting my expensive Owners Manual did not help so tommorrow it goes to the dealer.
I was at my local gas station this morning at 7:10 to fill up but my gas door would not open so I can't fill up. I could not find your phone number to let you know that I can't make it. Sorry as I washed my car and was ready to go.
Thanks Chase and Dawn for your hospitality in your beautiful house. I especially was envious of your 4 car garage and huge RV garage with spaces for 2 more cars plus the attached workshop. Also we enjoyed your 3 dogs especially squirting water in the big dogs mouth as I was relaxing in the spa.
What a wonderful day. Here are a few few photos taken by Toronto photographer Ray Reinson who joined us for this very exciting first major ride of the year.

Smogged my 1992 today with 27,904 miles on it. Two years ago the HC at 15 mph was 110 with 114 the max. so I was worried. I changed the plugs(clean) and air cleaner(dirty) and cleaned air temperature sensor(clean). My NSX passed with flying colors with HC now at only 20.
