BBVNSX 93 EDM NSX - From Portugal!

Hello John! Thanks for the kind words! Yes, according to my calculation we should be very close in bias! You did it with bigger piston sizes, but bias should be close! My Stoptech setup is F(34/38mm) and R(30/36mm). How is your pedal feeling/travel? Good? Remember if you want to upgrade...

BBVNSX 93 EDM NSX - From Portugal!

Thanks tomatoto! Before going to the weight difference, let me just give a bit more information about this: The reason I wanted to mimic the NSX-R bias was because I already had the NSX-R ABS upgrade, and I decided to also get the NSX-R specific Brake booster and master cylinder! I know NSX-R...

BBVNSX 93 EDM NSX - From Portugal!

Time for the Stoptech BBK update! Let me start by saying that there is nothing wrong with the OEM NSX brakes, they do their job quite well and much better than you would expect looking at floating calipers and rotor sizes, even if they are vented Front and Rear. My main goals when deciding to...

91-01 NSX Type R Hood Thread; End All Threads

I also have ATR hood (pop up version). When I was looking for the vented CF hood my goals were: - I wanted a hood that worked with the OEM NSX-R radiator duct, as the plan was to go full front NSX-R undertray. - I wanted OEM look on a real race part that worked as supposed and that I would...

Technical question about early NSX and NSX-R

Red one is pre-production /prototype car, not production car, probably ABS is disactivated (or is not even there as car is prototype) as the car is locking wheels when braking for corner. White one is a production 1993 NSX-R that is not equipped with traction control from factory! ABS probably...

Zanardi edition NSX #05 for sale in Ontario

I'm from Europe... so not sure if this could be a problem in the US market due to safety reasons... but the S steering deletes airbag, so maybe that would be a problem... also S seats are quite narrow... so maybe Honda thought they would be not adequate for US market...

BBVNSX 93 EDM NSX - From Portugal!

Been a long time since my last update, so here goes the promised review on OS Giken STR2C clutch. Pros: - Light pedal effort, even when compared to OEM clutch - Lightweight flywheel allows happier engine revs and easier to rev match when going through gears, but by no means is it a very light...

    Stock rotor top hat thickness?

According to Stoptech templates, they are 5mm thick vs 9mm for stoptech, take a look here: https://centricparts.com/SiteData/media/MediaLibrary/Files/WheelFitment/98-055-2430-02_FP.pdf So your brakes with 7mm should make your wheels move 2mm out
