Maybe you had the same thing I did.
When I got it smogged they put down the WRONG Car.. so check the vehicle information sheet to make sure it says 6cyl not 4 cyl NSX not NX.. NX = Nissan. (that is what I got)
Also list your readings and where you failed
CO2 NO ect.

How much would a set of 1998 Blades Silver OEM rims; if they have 50% left tread with all matching tires and only 1 of the rims has a scuff on it 1/2" in length.
It doesnt come with the stock OEM lug nuts also.

The center speaker NEVER worked for me untill this POP noise came out of it.
From what I have read the am in the foot well controlls the speaker? so the amp in the foot well is bad.. Then again the speaker in the footwell works//??? weird.

OK on my way to work I get this loud POP then smoke comming from the center speaker. Now the interior smells like burnt capacitors.
any ideals to how much it might cost to fix? and will it be safe to turn on the stereo? I turned it off just incase it isnt.

I called there the BEST they will do is $89 but they are not familar with the componets so I figured Niello WOULD be the best option since they will check the suspension components to make sure they are at par.

I just called niello and they recommened that I get the new tires in first before I bring the car in for an alignment.

Well it seems to me I should take the car to Niello to check out the suspension.. just incase it is NOT an alignment problem.
Now if only they gave free loaners .....

I guess the question is How much is it going to take to make the car up to par.
Well if you do find out the car has been into an accident then it will not be worth it to invest money into it since you will not get it back.
By the sounds of it I would think to repair everything and put it back...
Ok I have aftermarket rims with tire.
They are 235/40/17 fronts and 265/35/18 in the rears.
I have been noticing that the car does veer left when you let go of the wheel. The wear is werid since it is all in the inner side and just the first 1/8 of the tire. I will take some pics of it this...
OK if you have the factory alarm you need to disarm it first before opening the door. The alarm is not the greatest.. it doesnt detect the passenger side door unless it is opened.
Example.. using the alarm turn on the alarm doors lock.. now disarm the alarm doors unlock now open the passenger...
Thanks, I dont track the car much so I will go with the longer tire wear.
Now the question is do I need to buy a new set of tires or just the 2 bad ones??? the rear drivers side has only seen 4K miles and shows no wear and the front has some rubbing marks but still has 90% of the tread left...
Hmm if there is overspray then it has been repainted.. Also the one way someone showed me if a car has been repainted is to check the bolts / nuts on the car.. check to see if the paint is still on them.
BTW carFax tells you nothing unless you report it to the DMV which no one does Also if you...
Last night as I was working on my other car I noticed something werid about the tires on my NSX.
Both passenger side tires are being affected by TOE and the front Inner tire is bald and the rear is getting there. BUT the drivers side has no indication of Toe Wear at all.. can anyone figure out...
