Make sure you have 2 people at the point when you remove it and put it back on. it is unwieldy, heavy and has sharp edges that will scratch.

I'd also re-check all of the strut rebound and compression settings/clicks - its easy to make a mistake and get one side completely out of whack. If you're using track settings around town, it's going to clunk.
