I believe I did contact Shad and he didn't have a solution. That was several months ago. I will try him again. Thank you. As I just mentioned, the Brian Crower kit comes with their aftermarket connecting rod bearings, and I am replacing those.
My mechanic thinks it could have been the machine...
Cody is a good idea, if he'll answer his damn phone!
The Brian Crower kit actually comes with connecting rod bearings, so those are after market. It's the main bearings I can't find anyone to make.
Do you know who else was running my kind of power or similar setup?
Thanks
I wish I could find an aftermarket bearing manufacturer. I have been searching for over 6 months for one. I would love to upgrade the bearings. I am speaking about the main bearings. I lifted a head which then spun a bearing.
This thread is about the MAIN engine bearings. I'm actually replacing...
I have contacted King Bearings and they do not do NSX bearings. I also tried another bearing manufacturer, no luck.
I spoke with Science of Speed and they told me they are not aware of anyone who makes aftermarket bearings for the NSX. They told me that they are comfortable using the OEM...
Hi fellow Primers,
I have a 1991 NSX and am having to replace the main engine bearings in my engine. I am running a Brian Crower 3.5L stroker kit and recently spun a bearing.
We had to have some slightly oversized custom pistons made, replace the crank shaft and also need new engine bearings...
Thank you
Thank you very much Mac Attack for your helpful reply.
I agree the OEM bearings are not strong enough for my car. It's actually tuned to 714whp/605wtq on pump and 795whp/633wtq on Enthanol.
I am using the Brian Crower bearings for the connecting rod bearings as it's a 3.5L Brian...
Aloha Prime Family,
I need to replace all of the main engine bearings in my NSX except for the connecting rod bearings.
I know there's different colors and some colors take different amounts of bearings than others.
Can anyone please either
Provide me with a link that lists all of the main...
Following!!! Im currently 795whp and 660wtq. I NEED a tranny to hold the power! Will this do it????? Please PM me or post ASAP. If it will handle up to 1,000 whp COUNT ME IN!!!!! Subrcribed

Will these help performance with my car? I have a single turbo with flex fuel. During tuning on E85 we could barely make 800whp due the OEM coils. My tuner said if I could find coils that could handle stronger power, we'd make another 100whp or so. Will these coils fix the issue with OEM coils...
I forgot to mention, the Porsche 933 transmission from Cody's race car is completely billett. I'll have no worries, plus I'll love those long gears for my turbo, which after I did the Brian Crower 3.4L Stroker, my car boosts 1000rpms sooner which is beautiful.
I spoke with Cody Loveland and he's proposed an interesting Idea. I have the engine from his 2102 Pike's Peak NSX (now a 3.4L).
He's suggesting that after he runs the race this year, I ship him my car and he change my engine from tranversly mounted to normal mount, then use the Porsche 6 speed...
I thought PPG won't build NSX gears anymore. They're in Australia or New Zealand, right? I got them on the phone and they said they stopped making NSX stuff years ago. Do you know something I don't? Since I live in Hawaii, I'd have to ship it to the mainland. I'd probably get SOS to do it as...

I recently did a Brian Crower 3.4L stroker after a hard run and my engine cutoff. I have cody Lovefab's original 3.0L from his first 2012 Pike's Peak Race. Ive paid SOS to rebuild the trannny once already when I broke an axle drag racing (legally). The car had the NSX-R Differential and 4.23...
I am DBW as well and have been using a mustang TB that Cody Loveland had connected to this alien ship looking manifold on the Pikes Peak car

I agree and understand most of what you're saying. However, neither spending $50grand for a tranny, nor stocking up on 5 speeds, especially when I have the 4.23 gearing, NSX-R Differential and Final drive is possible. Yet, I see people with 900-1000+ whp NSX's. My engine is actually the engine...
What kind of coatings?
My whole tranny was built by SOS, I should have had them Chryo-Freeze them when they rebuilt it a few years ago, but didn't, and honestly don't know if it would make that big of a difference.
I have a 1991 800+whp NSX. When I had was ony 642whp, I snapped my driiveshaft in half shifting from first to second with drag radials on, which over revved engine and caused me to bend a valve spring. Since then, i have totally upgraded Turbo and all components inducing doing a Brian Crower 3.4...
Drivetrain advice, suggestions & experience from anyone 4 high powerd NSX for please
Aloha,
I have a 1991 NSX that made 674whp and 502wtq on 92 octane with a flex fuel system so I can run E100 ethanol, but had the chance to tune on ethanol, but should have been close to 800whp. My engine is...
I will be on Oahu on October 3rd, my driveway can hold up to 3 cars, but my NSX is taking up 1 space and can't move, so I can hold up to 2 more cars. If you want to setup some cars anytime before October 9th on my side of the island (Kaimuki) then my driveway is available.
Ok, I'll touch base with Chris and keep updating on this thread. Like I said, my car is not running, but I can connect battery and do window stuff. But, if I'm off island, then it doesn't matter, can't do anyways.
