In 2014 the Mideast NSX Meet initiated its first regional NSX event in Raleigh, NC. This followed the very successful national NSXPO held in Raleigh the previous year.

That first year there were just a dozen NSX owners attending. Over the years we continued to improve, expand and grow this event. We found some world class venues to visit in the Raleigh area.

Last year in 2023 we saw the first organized closing banquet that allowed all to socialize together. With over 100 NSX’s attending from 17 surrounding states, it was clearly the best Mideast event ever.

Looking to 2025 – we have elected to move the event to another major North Carolina city –Charlotte. We have put together a program that will bring new excitement and a fresh set of world class venues to the Mideast NSX Meet.

Primarily because some of these venues require financial commitments for reserving and using the facilities, we have decided to establish a registration fee. This fee will cover Saturday meals (but not on other days), venue access, insurance and any other costs associated with the weekend events. We have secured sponsorship for some of the events to assist in minimizing the cost.

The cost per attendee will be $259. EDIT - new price is $149! There will be no option to select only certain events to attend, in the same manner that NSXPO is organized.

Go to the website link below. Review the tentative schedule of events as you consider attending the 2025 Mideast NSX Meet in Charlotte, May 15 – 18.

NSX Meetup website

There is a link for hotel reservations that is accessible only to registered attendees.

We are excited about this new site and the new venues for the upcoming event and look forward to seeing a record attendance. With that said, we do have capacity restrictions at some of the venues, so please register early to assure that you are not disappointed and unable to attend.

Your 2025 Mideast NSX Meet Organizing Team.

Everyone has been asking, so what does the $149 registration get me? As the Mideast Meet Organizing Committee is getting further along in our planning, we wanted to share with everyone the exciting details of what we’ve been planning! You must be registered in order to attend these four exclusive events.

Friday May 16 –private tour – sponsored by Hagerty Insurance

Our friends at Hagerty Insurance, along with RK Motors in Charlotte, NC have worked together to invite our group for a private viewing of their amazing brand-new consignment showroom. Rob Kaufman, owner of RK Motors, is a world-renown automotive collector, and sellers from all over the world will ship their cars to RK Motors for consignment. Walk thru 100+ collectable cars and maybe take home a new ride!

Friday May 16 – dinner and private tour – sponsored by Euro Prestige Imports and Hagerty Insurance

Euro Prestige Imports is a full service consignment dealer of collector cars, as well as full-service and maintenance of exotic and European vehicles. They also provide storage for local owners who need additional garage space. We will have a pizza lunch hosted by Hagerty Insurance at the Euro Prestige facility, which is also a full-service co-working space! Walk thru their consignment inventory while also looking at the amazing owner cars in storage. While inventory is always changing, they will often have cars on-site like screen used Fast & Furious vehicles or even a Batmobile! How about a James Bond era Aston Martin DB6, or a 1959 Ferrari 250GT with only 10k miles? Both are currently on display in their showroom! (at the time of this writing)

Saturday May 17 – Rick Hendrick private collection tour – sponsored by Hendrick Acura of Charlotte

Hendrick Acura, part of the Hendrick Auto Group, invites our NSX group to visit the Hendrick Motorsports complex, current home of Rick Hendrick’s four NASCAR teams, and future home of Cadillac F1. You will be able to take an exclusive private guided tour of Mr. Hendrick’s private car collection, which includes VIN #0001 of both NSX NC1 and NSX NC1 Type S, along with over 130 other cars in his collection. The cars are displayed in various dioramas representing different journey’s in Rick Hendrick’s life, from his first dealership to his hometown Dairy Queen. This private collection is not accessible to the general public for viewing, and is only being made available to us thru Hagerty Insurance and Hendrick Acura. No photographs are allowed inside the private museum, so this may be your only chance to view this ultra-secret collection! We might also be able to visit the Hendrick NASCAR museum, where Mr. Hendrick displays over 50 of his most significant race cars (usually closed on Saturdays, but we are hoping they open the museum for our group!)

Saturday May 17 lunch - TBD

Saturday May 17 – Closing Banquet at NASCAR Hall of Fame

Our Mideast Meet weekend concludes with the closing banquet held at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Our group will have 3 hours of private and exclusive access to the Inside NASCAR and Heritage Speedway sections of the museum. In between bites of our southern BBQ dinner, you can take part in several interactive exhibits:
  • NASCAR race-car simulators! Get behind the wheel of one of eight NASCAR stock car full-size replicas outfitted with iRacing technology. (two drivers in each car, so each race has 16 drivers) The tracks are laser scanned, millimeter-accurate replicas of the originals. Enjoy an updated spectator screen and a digital leaderboard showing the top times of the day. Who will have the fastest lap at the end of the night? (there might be a prize involved) You can race unlimited times during our 3hr dinner! (note that a daily ticket to the museum with one simulator race is $36, you can get your money’s worth for your registration fee with this activity alone!)
  • Pit Crew Challenge. Races are won and lost in the pits, right? Do you have what it takes to be the best pit crew on the grid? Jack up the car, change a tire with a real air gun, and fill up the fuel tank within seconds! Put together your own crew and challenge your friends to a head-to-head team competition! Or go 1-on-1 and see how quickly you complete an entire pit stop by yourself! What team will claim bragging rights at the end of the night? (maybe another prize involved for fastest pit stop?)
  • Heritage Speedway exhibit. Our group will have private and exclusive access to 8 decades of NASCAR artifacts displayed in this museum. From the humble beginnings of NASCAR, where drivers carried moonshine in the trunk and raced on the beach, the Heritage Speedway will teach you about the history of NASCAR like you’ve never experienced before. See hundreds of race suits and helmets and trophies from the best NASCAR drivers that ever lived. Discover the technical history of the sport thru engaging multimedia experiences. How does a Toyota Camry street car compare to the NASCAR version? Take a look at the full-size cutaway comparison!
  • Glory Road – this a museum exhibit unlike any other. NASCAR race cars of historical significance are displayed on the steeply banked turn of a NASCAR speedway. Want to know what 33degress of banking is like? Try to stand on it! Want to touch the different surfaces of multiple NASCAR race tracks, and feel the difference in texture between them? Walk along Glory Road and get closeup views of some of the most famous NASCAR race cars in history while reading about their individual history.
  • If available (i.e. not rented by other groups), you can also visit the Hall of Honor, the Great Hall, and other part of the NASCAR Hall of Fame museum.
Southern BBQ dinner with iced tea and water are included with your registration. Adult beverages and other non-alcoholic beverages will be available via cash bar. Unlimited interactive activities, access to all open museum exhibits, and indoor garage parking are included in your registration. (note some museum exhibits may be closed due to buyouts) Click here to learn more about the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

So in summary, what does your $149 registration fee get you? All-inclusive meals for lunch and dinner on Saturday, and since the hotel is providing breakfast, you will only have to pay out-of-pocket for any meals on Friday. In addition, you will have access to three amazing car collections, and a fantastic closing banquet at the NASCAR Hall of Fame including all interactive activities, all without spending another dollar!

How long is registration open? This would make for a good road trip from Indy!

Registration will be open until April 30 or we are sold out, whichever happens first.

We would love to see you attend. This regional NSXCA event has grown to become the largest regional NSXCA event in the country. Last year we had 106 NSX's attending. So far this year we have NSX owners from 20 states attending. Come join us for a great time.

I have registered and am planning to attend :D
Is there any kind of parts swap meet at the event? Do folks bring parts to sell?
I'd be driving my NSX from Indy. I've been working on assembling a group of Indy based NSX's but not sure if any will join me for the MidEast Meet. I'll probably road trip from Indy down to the Ohio river, go through Daniel Boone National forest and the Cumberland Gap, taking KY 15, KY 160, US421, US 58 to TN 70, NC208 to NC226A and on to US221 S, detouring along the blue ridge park way coming down to Charlotte. If anyone wants to join me, hit me up!

Am curious if Rob Kauffman will be at RK Motors and/or if we will be seeing any of his personal collection of historic race cars (he owns the 1966 Le Mans winning GT40, plus several other legends) ?

There is a swap shop / parts meet scheduled on Saturday afternoon in the hotel parking lot. You should see this in the itinerary that was emailed to you upon registration.

No idea if Rob Kauffman will be present during the tour of his facility, and same for Rick Hendrick when we tour his private collection. Specifically with RK, there is some "friction" regarding one of the tenants in the building where he stores his private collection (where they don't like general public walking thru the building due to the sensitive nature of their work), so we might not have access to that building, although I'm told some of the historical cars will be moved to the consignment building that we are visiting so that we can see them.

i see it now, thank you! I am still reading through all the event paperwork, sorry.

OK, good to know via RK Motors. I have raced vintage cars with Rob several times, and was curious if we'd get the chance to see his personal stuff up close. Glad to hear it sounds like we will get to! thank you!

we are trying to under-promise, and over-deliver, with every one of the scheduled events! we are still hopeful to get into the building with RK's entire private collection.
